I went to celebrate Mother’s Day early with my son.We sat out on the patio and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The lighting was soft, all the greenery was beautiful, and the waterfall was just perfect. Our waitress I believe her name is Cyrai was so kind and very attentive. She thought I might not have been pleased with my meal and even brought the manager over just to make sure I was happy…so sweet. I was completely satisfied with everything. The food, service, atmosphere, and management were all fantastic. We’ll definitely be going back :) Thank you!
I saw this restaurant on my Instagram feed so after seeing good photos and reels of the hype, I came for my visit. The hostess was welcoming and accommodating to us, a party of two with one being mobility disabled in walking. The blonde female server was young and not so friendly with a rude tone. I don't like how restaurants have a server wait on me then allow a food runner to bring the food especially when the restaurant is not busy. The male food runner had his hands touch my fries on my overpriced brisket plate. When I mentioned that to him, he laughed and did not apologize nor offer to replace my cold fries. The brisket was served slightly warm and needed to be served warmer than it was. The female server did not even ask how our food was. I did not finish it but the guest I was with, needed a to go box and I gave him my brisket and mac n cheese. She was not thoughtful or considerate to even bring him a bag and he is disabled. We had to ask for a bag and she seemed very annoyed. She did not even bring us the donuts after the meal until we had already paid. She lacked basic customer service skills. The restaurant itself is a good atmosphere with a few good photo spots. The barbecue smells from outside the restaurant are amazing and had my mouth watering so I'm disappointed my plate was not at my ideal temperature. The corn bread is delicious!

First time going to Bobby q after wanting to try for about a year. Such a beautiful place that was my favorite part!! That food is amazing got the brisket sandwiche and texas twinkies. Also the drink was amazing Q lada I believe! Overall great experience cant wait to come back!!
Some friends recently moved down from Iowa, and being massive barbecue fans, they were eager to check out the local scene. We decided to visit Bobby Q based on its consistently high online reviews, and it did not disappoint. Getting to the restaurant is a bit of an adventure. It is tucked away in a rather awkward location, and the driving directions can feel a bit strange when you are navigating there. Fortunately, once you actually pull in, the property is very easy to get around. If you plan to visit, reservations are highly preferred. While they do accept walk-ins, you are definitely taking your chances with table availability and wait times, especially during prime dining hours. Our dining experience was fantastic from start to finish. The service was great, with attentive staff making sure our table had everything we needed. When it came to the food, Bobby Q easily outshined other local barbecue restaurants we have tried. However, our friends did note that while the meats were delicious and well-prepared, it still fell just a bit short of the authentic Iowa barbecue they are used to back home. Overall, if you are into barbecue, this is very likely the best spot in Phoenix. It is absolutely worth the slightly confusing drive to get there!
We had an excellent experience at Bobby Q in Glendale. The beef rib was tasty but a little lacking in meat, while the brisket was really good and had a nice roast-like flavor. It was definitely not KC style, but it still had good flavor. The chicken was great, and the mac and cheese was the show stopper!. The baked beans were disappointing and lacked flavor, but the fries and cornbread were both very good. We got the beer fries, not shoestring, and they were a great choice. I really enjoyed the chipotle ranch with my fries. No words to describe how delicious the butter cake was. Overall, it was a great meal, and our waitress Natalie was fantastic, making the experience even better.
