I will start off by saying that I have handled medical malpractice cases in my professional life, so I know when there are deviations with the standard of care. I saw various providers in the facility, and all missed a major condition that will require surgery. I was hospitalized for their miss and referred back to them post hospitalization for further investigation. They ordered thousands of dollars’ worth of blood work and never told me to be off one of the medications that caused my hospitalization so for months I was told I was “fine” despite being so ill I had to go on medical leave at work. The reason I was “fine” was because they were running blood tests incorrectly. I fought for months to get a referral to nephrology who ran the blood tests correctly, quickly found the relatively rare but obvious condition and I am scheduled for surgery. I also fought to get off a medication that was making me extremely ill and had I not told them I refused to continue with the medication; I would be in the same position before. I tried addressing this with UCH and they dismissed my concerns. I encourage anyone considering this practice to STRONGLY advocate for themselves, do extensive research on conditions, demand referrals for complex cases, report failures to the Colorado Medical Board through DORA and be extremely cautious. I would strongly recommend NOT establishing care here and I have gotten excellent care at the Anschutz campus which is not connected with this practice. Responding to Uch’s reply - I started with patient reps and tried to address it. You dismissed it without even conducting a full evaluation - or your letter was so poorly written that you didn’t hit on key points.

Dr JAKE GOLDMAN is an excellent and good doctor. He is a top doctor at Colorado. He is highly knowledgeable, kind and caring. I went to three other doctors either they did not know or care. Dr. Jake Goldman should be monitoring other UC Health doctors. Please note in your busy schedule. I greatly appreciate his care. Thank you Dr Jake Goldman for taking care of me.
We have been coming “down here” for healthcare for the past several decades. We appreciate the quality of “Dr.Sullivan” trained doctors. So although, the name of the practice has changed from time to time, the quality has remained consistently high. Definitely would recommend. The lobby/waiting area is secured with a doorbell and remote lock- so safety of staff and clients is maintained by assuring appointments are in place before entry. The front staff are very helpful and friendly. The back staff are also courteous and professional. We drive more than 30 minutes to get here- it is worthwhile. “We appreciate that you have a choice in healthcare, and we’d like to thank you for choosing UCHealth Primary Care- Uptown” ;-) would be the tagline if they had one! If you are shopping for Primary Care- and this office is in network- it’s worth the drive, try here first!
Dr Jake Goldman is good, great and excellent doctor. Highly knowledgeable, kind and caring. I went to two other doctors, either they had poor knowledge or did not care. Please note. Thank you Dr. Jake Goldma! Your elderly patient living alone.
If you need great doctors, a caring office and want to be heard and cared for this is the primary care for you. Dr. Fink and Dr. Goldman are not only competent doctors but also compassionate people! I so highly recommend this office and Doctors!
