Bernadette Anderson, MD

I’m deeply disappointed with the care I received from Dr. Bernadette Anderson. I sought her out as a doctor because she was a woman of Color. I should have listened to the bad review’s from year’s ago. (She hasn’t changed!) Despite having abnormal blood work including low iron and a high ESR also WHILE HAVING ongoing symptoms! like fatigue and joint pain! Which is interrupting my day as a mother. I was completely dismissed! Not once did Dr. Anderson reach out to follow up on my results! I had to initiate every point of contact myself and even then, I was met with indifference. What’s most upsetting is the lack of urgency or interest in figuring out why I feel the way I do. My concerns were minimized, and no steps were taken to investigate further or refer me to someone who could help. Not once did she call after the so called “normal” blood work and require further testing or even set up an appointment to see if i was still experiencing joint pain and weakness. It felt like my health wasn’t a priority to her! She did not care! In my full Opinion as someone who has had a urgent surgery and high test results that resulted in a discovery of a Rare disease this is not the doctor you want looking after you! You want a doctor who hear’s you and your concern’s so God forbid if something is wrong it can be caught in time and you can have the best Quality of life. I say this Boldly I do not recommend! Thank you God for getting me out of here and swiftly transitioning me to a new doctor quickly🙌🏽

Felt very welcomed and not rushed Dr Anderson seemed to be truly interested in my health and healing and customized my referrals based on my needs not whose popular. Seemed more interested in my healing than the drugs she could prescribe me. Can't wait to read her book!
