My second visit. All went well. The employees were all gracious and kind. My dental hygienist was excellent. She provided explanations on what procedures she was executing. made you comfortable and relaxed. Constantly asked if I was ok during the exams. The Dentist: also kind , checked the procedure and examined-provided an update and scheduling. The staff nor Dr. didn’t try to up sale on possible procedures. I’ll be back. Very professional staff.
I will say, I have been to Five Star Dentistry for a year now and I have to say this was the best decision I ever made. I had years in the past as a young adult with my trauma of getting my teeth done at Nova Dental so I abandon the routines of getting my teeth done. After years of abandonment, I knew enough was enough and wanted to find a good dentistry. I stumble upon this dental clinic last year, and the 1st visit was very comforting when I told the staff my story along with the abandonment of my teeth. The staff comfort me, and gave me that day a long-term plan of work that needs to be done on my teeth. Over the previous visits, it has been lovely. The representatives at the front desk are very nice and respectful. They are always willing to work with me payment wise even when I don't have the full payment or if there is a change to my insurance. The dental/hygienist assistants are so patient and communicative with me before and during my every procedure. I also have to thank Dr. Matera (hopefully I am spelling his name right). He is quick with my procedures, always talk to me of what is going on during my procedure and so patient. I'm so thankful for Five Star Dentistry. I never felt more confident than ever when it comes to my teeth routine at home.

My experience at five star dentistry continues to be amazing. The receptionists and dentists and all participators who has supported me have been fantastic. Everyone has been on top of their services soon as I walk in the door. The kindness that I receive has made me recommend family and friends to eventually become part of the team at five star dentistry. I’m so glad I chose to join the group. I’ve been to several different places but this is truly five star dentistry!
I haven’t been to the dentist in probably 15 years. I had a cracked molar that was causing me extreme pain. They took x-rays and explained everything to me. Unfortunately, I needed the molar extracted. I am terrified of the dentist but they led me through step by step which helped me feel confident and not as anxious. Everyone was so kind. They made sure it wasn’t painful for me. They explained throughly what I needed done going forward. It was a really good experience for not having gone so long. Thank you!
Upon first impression... clean and friendly. Didn't have me wait long in waiting room. Which was great! I have a toothache, Dentist came in figured out what needed done and we set a next appointment to get an extraction done. He also told me what teeth could be saved. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Only thing is that they didn't extract same day but He did ask me if I wanted to go to an oral surgeon to get it pulled sooner and he did give me amoxicillin to kill infection. I got an appointment a couple a weeks from now. I would say if your pain is really bad and ur looking to get it pulled asap go to Pitt emergency but if ur looking for a good dentist would highly recommend this one! Can't wait for my next appointment and to get my oral health back on track!
