If you’re a steakhouse person, this spot should be on your list. While traveling domestic or abroad I always pull the “Top 100 Steakhouses in the World” list to see if there’s a spot to check out. There’s a reason G&G made this list. I missed the chance while in Denver, but when I had a few days in Houston, I definitely made time to eat here. Outstanding service. Highly trained staff was poised, efficient, and engaging. Multiple managers stopped by to chat. Not just obligatory table touches, but actual conversations that felt organic. Ambiance is very modern and comfortable. I’m a huge fan of hearing the kitchen call back an order coming in. The Food- everything I hoped it would be and then some. Try the wagyu wontons to start. Dry age ribeye and 8oz filet were cooked perfectly and appropriately seasoned. Wine list is comprehensive. Dessert was way too much food after an amazing dinner, but still got talked into (gladly) splitting two perfect dishes. Thank you G&G! Looking forward to next time!
10 out of 10 I recommend 👌🏽 We were greeted with warmth and smiles. It was an early dinner so we received a lot of attention and perfect service. The Snake River Waygu was cooked to perfection and the Crab Fried Rice and Brussels Sprouts were darn tasty. 😋 I didn't catch the name of the dessert but boy was it good! The world's best triple chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake with the most delicious ice cream scoops atop. Guard amd Grace has earned it's #1 spot for me and guy from this point on.

We’ve been to pricey, nice restaurants before. This place seemed to be a cut above. I think it was the tall ceiling and artistic decor. The food portion sizes were fair. Taste was delicious and plating was beautiful. Our server was top tier. They gave us excellent conversation and paid attention to details. Our orders were correct.
Wow! My son and husband brought me to this beautiful restaurant for my birthday dinner. Not only is it visually stunning, but the staff couldn’t be more friendly. Our server, Ricardo, started my celebration with a glass of bubbly and then the perfect Malbec to go with the short ribs on the specials menu. We started with the BEST queso I have ever had (and I am a lifelong Texan with a love for queso). My husband got the snapper on the half shell and my son got the salmon. Both delicious and unique flavors! And y’all….. the chocolate chip cookies must be made of 5 sticks of butter. So good! Highly recommend this place if you are in Houston. Hard to find better food or service.
Came here with my family on Mother’s Day! Our waiter was so great, very pleasant and good with details on the food and answered every question we had! Amazing. What kind of ruined the mood at the end was the bartender; he was nice but kinda of had a mood or whatnot towards the end once leaving. He could’ve been nicer and better attitude when asked a simple question as a customer spending quite a lot of money, everything would’ve been understood if spoken in better mannerism. Other than thank you for the experience.
