I've been coming to Portland Modern Dentistry for years, and have had no complaints. I came in for a follow-up teeth cleaning and Cor a provided exceptional service. She was personable and considerate, but also through and efficient. She provided me with a great understanding of what options were available to me. The receptionist was also great, though I unfortunately forgot her name once I stepped outside (she was blonde with glasses). In any case, this is a great office filled with compassionate professionals and quality service at reasonable prices. I highly recommend.
I can’t say enough good things about Portland Modern Dentistry and Dr. Austin Todd. Dr. Todd is hands down the best dentist I’ve ever seen. His attention to detail is incredible, and he’s truly an artist when it comes to making fillings blend naturally with your tooth color and contour. He understands how important your smile is to your personality, confidence, and the way you present yourself to the world. He’s also excellent at delivering difficult news in a thoughtful, compassionate way while always helping you find realistic solutions for your dental needs. You can tell he genuinely cares deeply about his patients, their teeth, their smiles, and their overall well-being. The office staff is just as amazing. They go above and beyond to help find solutions, whether it’s dealing with insurance issues, payment options, or scheduling concerns. Everyone there genuinely cares, and they make dealing with the harsh realities of aging and dental issues so much easier and less stressful. I also want to give Jennifer a special shoutout — she has helped me tremendously when it comes to navigating payments and insurance, and she’s always kind, patient, and solution-oriented. They also truly live up to the “Modern” part of their name. I feel like they’re always investing in new dental technology and better techniques that genuinely improve the patient experience and make procedures easier, smoother, and more comfortable. I’ve been coming here for years, and I truly couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for my dental care. Highly, highly recommend Dr. Todd and the entire Portland Modern Dentistry team.

I had an amazing experience with my cleanings with Cora! I’m usually a little nervous before cleanings but she was very kind and put me at ease right away. I’ve had deep cleanings done over the years and without a doubt Cora was the best I’ve experienced. Great advice on picking out some things that help me along the way too.
This place is clean, professional, and run incredibly well. On top of that the vibe is very upbeat. Cynthia and Dr Todd are the best! Incredibly skilled and personable staff top to bottom. You always leave your appointment feeling good. I initially went to Portland Modern simply for a teeth cleaning, but when I had a dental emergency my usual dental service could only book me months out, so I thought what could it hurt to stop by. Portland Modern got me in to see what was going on, and then was able to act on it with as little delay as possible. Aside from my initial cleaning, I ended up getting two crowns done here, and will be back. When I needed them they were responsive, and they provide the highest quality work.
Cora was a fantastic dental hygienist—friendly, genuine, and exceptionally skilled at her job. She made the appointment comfortable and informative, offering excellent advice that was both practical and memorable. Her professionalism and personable approach made for a great experience, and I left feeling well cared for and better informed about my dental health. Highly recommend!
