Great Expressions Dental Centers - Midtown

I was very pleased with my experience at the new GEDC location in Midtown. The staff was present and professional from start to finish. I was standing outside just before the office opened, and a staff member checked on me and welcomed me inside. Before my visit started, a front desk staff member voluntarily checked my account and made sure things were up to date. The dental assistant was very enthusiastic, and explained everything about the X-Ray process. She was very passionate about teeth and interested in my comfort. She was also paying attention to my visit - actively reshaping services/scans to fit results in real time - paring back things that weren’t needed. The dentist was professional and friendly. While there were not concerns that prompted lengthy discussion about my x-ray results/his observations, he was patient enough to answer my slightly unrelated questions about Invisalign and other things. The hygienist was great. She explained her process thoroughly and did an excellent job with the cleaning. She took her time to enhance my understanding of the importance of oral hygiene, and she even helped improve my routine. The front desk staff was also patient and helpful in troubleshooting new FSA payment methods. Note to management: please look into the shading in the Peachtree street-facing rooms. The morning sunlight can be very intense. The hygienist did a good job of blocking the direct sunlight from my face. I don’t know if floor to ceiling curtains are needed, but maybe install some more of those little rectangles in the upper windows panes.
