We started out with Drinks, a Margarita for me that was more ice than beverage. Service was great, our waiter Greg was Johnny on the spot and offered recommendations. We had the roasted sweet potato. We also had a kale salad as well as one of the other salads. Once you have it you’ll know why it’s $14 on the menu. Personally, I enjoyed the fresh made pasta over the meats but that’s not to say the rib eye my gf had was cooked perfectly to a medium rare and can say it had a nice ratio of beef to fat. I had the tagliatelle with shrimp, fennel, basil and Parmesan cheese that was absolutely delicious. If you’re a fan of fresh made pasta, this is a must do. The dessert was meh, would get it again. Definitely worth it!
Great service...almost too many people checking in but Id rather they care then be ignored. Chef seems really interested in textures. Arugula salad was fresh, vibrant with some fun crunches, cauliflower appetizer was a little salty but the kale pesto cut through it. Pretty good bite! Pasta was on point and plenty of it. Perfectly cooked roasted chicken with a fun sweet and savory flavor. Potato salad was well cooked but very bland. Flourless chocolate dessert had several elements...the cream was delicious, the Gelato was too frozen. Good selection of red wines by the glass and the porter was a great ending to the meal. Also...large portions that can easily be enough for 2.

Update: hubby and i returned for date night. Hubby got the sirloin steak and I got the pappardelle which were absolutely delicious! The pappardelle came with a lamb shanks the size of this hammer and was so tender. For an appetizer we got the chicken wings were delightfully spicy but sweet! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Hubby and I came for date night and this place is really cool. They have the main dining restaraunt and bar, an open dining patio with misters and outdoor bar. And the a separate bar altogether on the property just for fun. We had the baby back ribs which were equally tender and crispy, a little salty for my pallet but overall they were decent. Hubby got the Ribeye which was as big as my size 8 shoe (no joke) and it came with veggies and a delicious bed of mashed potatoes. I got the parpadelle pasta which is made in house and it was delicious. Perfect amount of spice and savory flavors. We will be back again for sure! Parking itself is on the small side in the actual restaraunt lot but there is plenty of street parking and even a separate dirt lot we parked in.
We had date night here last night and had an amazing experience. We ordered the grilled chicken wings as an appetizer, the ribeye and ribs for our entree and dessert. Everything was 10/10! I loved the passion fruit cocktail. Portions were hug and our server was so kind! Thank you guys!
I wish I remembered the name of our serveur extraordinaire! His timing was great! He knew when we were ready and very accommodating! Had the brunch 2 beef ribs with egg and although the ribs had just a tab too much fat for me they were still very good as long as it had the Jalapeño Chimichurri sauce; otherwise the ribs alone lacked punch. I'm not a fan of anyone else's eggs other than the way that I make, but they were really good as well as the hash brown cakes. Spouse really enjoyed the beef brisket breakfast with the Parmesan polenta. Enjoyed the esthetic and although it may seem small dining area inside and the seating is somewhat snug meaning you are pretty close to your neighbor's table, this restaurant is massive on the outside! I had to stop and catch my breath between the parking lot and door going inside! I think they have live music on some nights and probably gets very busy during the cooler months. Sorry to see it's sister restaurant, Chantico, close last year, but this is the original and well worth it. Look forward to more stops here and trying their other dishes. Great service!
