Valentine’s night was super busy, but our reservation had us seated in minutes. The server was amazing and added to the quality of our experience. The food was quality, but had lost temperature by the time it reached the table. Carrot cake was amazing and the Americana coffee made it a perfect finish. We had a great night. One side note, the tip is automatically added to the bill as a service charge. If you forget, as I did, you will dramatically overpay. Still a great night.
Our dining experience at the restaurant was outstanding, thanks to the exceptional food and service. BJ, our waitress, provided top-notch service from start to finish, recommending delicious drinks and dishes. The whipped potatoes were smooth and flavorful, while the salmon was cooked to perfection. The orzo, mixed with corn and crème fraiche, was a highlight, and the pappardelle pasta was impressive, evoking memories of a hearty pot roast. Both dishes were well-portioned and surprisingly light. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and plan to return for brunch. Update- Our brunch was delicious. The chicken and waffle were amazing, consisting of a fluffy waffle and tender, juicy chicken. The bacon on top of the waffle was crispy and delicious. The salmon with potato cake was also delicious and full of flavor. Mel, our bartender/server provided excellent service. - Both servers delivered outstanding service and were attentive.

This was a disappointing first experience overall. It started with the valet. I’m not entirely sure if the hotel valet is officially affiliated with the restaurant, but given that it’s all in the same building, I’m assuming they are. I waited about 25 minutes while they were clearly busy. When the valet finally came over to my car, he told me they had reached capacity. The frustrating part is that he had been talking to the car in front of me for over 10 minutes—he could have easily waved us off, yelled that valet was full, or put up a sign. Instead, he ignored the situation and walked away, which set a poor tone from the start. As for the restaurant itself, the food was okay but nothing memorable. • The calamari was extremely crispy—more like eating crunchy chips than calamari. • The salad was decent, but using kale really requires a creamier dressing; it felt under-dressed. • The fries were fine, nothing special. • The pasta dish had a sour taste that didn’t seem intentional. The most disappointing part was the ribeye steak. I fully understand that ribeye has a good amount of fat, but this steak was absolutely not worth $90. It was shockingly small—maybe two bites at best—and for a place that isn’t even a steakhouse, the price is unjustifiable. To make things worse, as we were leaving the restaurant—since they were already closed—we passed by the bar area to exit and the bartender loudly said, “Sorry gentlemen, the bar is closed.” It was obvious we were coming from the dining area and simply trying to leave, not ordering drinks. Overall, the staff felt uncoordinated and the experience lacked polish. Between the valet issue, overpriced food, and awkward service moments, this was a very poor first impression.
Jess was amazing. Very kind and very helpful with our experience. We had the calamari (sooo good), kale salad (best salad I’ve had in a long time), and we both ordered the steak frites. Food was great, atmosphere was so relaxing and the drinks were perfect. Will definitely be back!!!
Located inside The Godfrey Hotel, this restaurant is gorgeous. It’s simple, modern, and the aesthetics were everything. While I was capturing some of the views, there was a woman with braids sitting with her laptop who started shouting at me not to record her. I completely understand why people don’t want to be in pictures, but since she seemed like she worked there, it felt a little unprofessional. It did leave a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Aside from that, we were seated quickly and noticed there’s even outdoor seating available. The music was a mix of 90s and early 2000s R&B, which immediately put us in a good mood. For drinks, my friend and I ordered pineapple mimosas, and they were amazing. I even asked if they were made with fresh pineapple juice because they were that good. The only con was that they weren’t bottomless. For food, my friend ordered the hashbrowns, and I had the pancakes with a side of bacon. Both were amazing. The bacon was perfectly crispy with a portion size that exceeded expectations, and the pancakes had the perfect balance of crisp and softness paired with syrup. Just so good. My friend really enjoyed her hashbrowns too, she just mentioned they could’ve used some hot sauce. Our server was attentive the whole time, which I appreciated. Despite the awkward encounter in the beginning, I’d definitely come back for brunch or dinner and would recommend this spot. The decor and aesthetic make it a great place for celebrations, work events, or birthdays. Thank you for having us!
