This is a very nice restaurant. Looks clean and cozy. Everything on the menu sounded good. I ordered the wagyu burger and fries and my friend got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The good looked good and tasted delicious. But once we received our food and drinks that's the last we seen our server. No check ins or refills. That was disappointing. Table had 5 plates 5 sets of silverware and 5 glasses on it when we sat down. They were never removed. Sat on the table our whole visit.
Went to The Porch for brunch and I’m glad we did. Right on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh this place is a definite recommendation. We decided to get a pitcher of the Bloody Mary and it did not disappoint. The food was fabulous with multiple seasonal options. For a light lunch the salmon wrap was fantastic with a great flavor profile. Parking took a little while to find however after finding street parking the meal made the walk over worth it.

This is overall a phenomenal spot for lunch or dinner, located right on Pitt's campus. The restaurant has a modern feeling, with both indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a bright green field of grass. Menu is varied, with something to please just about anyone. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly as well. With fair pricing on top of this, it is hard to say no.
We came hear to eat with a bunch of people (~20) after a conference at CMU. We had our own two tables. The place was buzzing, but it was still quiet enough to talk. The food itself was excellent. Service was kind and attentive.
I went several weeks ago and had the most wonderful server for brunch named Isabella. She was so friendly and kind and knew so much about the menu. I told her I like to eat a lot and she recommended the butternut squash pizza with prosciutto. OMG, it was SO delicious. Thank you Isabella for the great service and amazing recommendation! 🍕
