The dental hygienist was so nice. I have been anxious about seeing the dentist for 2 weeks prior to my appointment. She made me feel at ease with her relaxed approach. She taught me how to floss correctly and recommended products to use. Dr. Leahy goes out of his way to try to make his patients feel comfortable.
I was a new patient. Before leaving after getting my referrals for work that needs done, I was told, moving forward I wouldn’t be going to them anymore, with no explanation. Didn’t ask why. But they didn’t say why either, guess they didn’t care to. But the doctor was great. Very nice. I thought it was a good visit. Guess not. So now looking for a new dentist.
Larry has always been an excellent dentist for years and he is one of these few "family" dentists left, as his own practice. Our family has gone to him through 3 generations. Super friendly and so is the whole office. Office is very clean and oral hygienists are very thorough and friendly. Larry has deep expertise from simple cavities to more complex dental work. Most amazingly is how the field evolves with machines, procedures, and materials; Larry is always on the leading edge with everything. Every time I need something there seems to be a new material or process to use. We trust Larry with our family.

I just moved to Pittsburgh. I was looking for a new dentist and Dr. Leahy came highly recommended. I found everyone in the office to be so friendly and pleasant. My hygienist was very easy to talk to and gave me pointers on how to brush and floss as well as explaining what instruments she was using and how they worked. Dr. Leahy came in for a final exam and although I sometimes get nervous around doctors, I found him to be very friendly and calming. He was informative, and listened to me. I would highly recommend this practice.
A dental hygienist was not available so Dr Leahy cleaned my teeth. While doing so, he discovered a minor issue with my front teeth and fixed it on the spot. A consummate professional. I’ve been seeing him for several years and give my highest recommendation.
