I’ve been to this clinic twice now, and both experiences were disappointing, especially the most recent one. I have ongoing health concerns: low vitamin D, chronic pain, fatigue, and with mental health factors that make consistency with treatment difficult. I was hoping to find a provider who would actually listen, review my history, and help me come up with a plan. The clinic has very thin walls where I can hear other patients talking to providers, and I’m sure they can hear me too. I’ve also felt rushed and treated like a number. On my first visit, I waited about 40 minutes alone in the room before being seen. At one point, someone peeked in and said, “Oh, there’s someone in here.” When the practitioner finally arrived, she seemed thorough but very rushed. The checkout process was also confusing. I was getting blood work and was handed multiple papers. When I asked the front desk which one I should give to the lab, I was told, “This one that says labs???” in a way that felt dismissive. It was my first visit, so I didn’t know what they needed or if there was additional information to provide. On my second visit, I saw a different provider because the first one wasn’t available. Instead of going through my symptoms in detail or reviewing my labs clearly, the advice I received felt very surface-level things like generic diet tracking suggestions which weren’t related to why I was there. I never came in for weight concerns, and that wasn’t the issue I wanted help with. I didn’t feel heard, and I didn’t feel like my concerns were taken seriously or looked at in a holistic or thoughtful way. Healthcare visits are already stressful for people at times, especially when you’re dealing with chronic issues. What I needed was time, explanation, and collaboration not quick, impersonal advice. After two visits with similar experiences, I don’t feel comfortable continuing care here. If you just need something quick and basic, this clinic might be fine? But if you’re looking for a provider who will really listen, take time with your case, and work with you on ongoing or complex issues, this wasn’t my experience at all.

Both Shanna (NP) and her nurse Lisa are always so personable from the time they greet you in the lobby. This office is 40 minutes from home for me but I cannot imagine going anywhere else and feeling as heard. They make you feel human and not just another patient they have to see before the day is over. Thank you both for your time and patience!! ;)
Entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Christine Minch, FNP took her time during the visit. She was patient with all of my questions and made sure I had answers prior to leaving. Her assessment was thorough and the follow up plan was clear. Having a phlebotomist on site makes it so much easier to get labs done. A wonderful provider and practice! Will be referring friends and family.
The provider I saw was fantastic and professional. I would give her 5 stars; however, the massive Village Medical company is poorly run. You can’t reach the actual office to ask basic questions, such as hours for their lab or other lab locations you can take the lab order. I was transferred around to 4 people, and the first individual couldn’t even understand basic requests and kept trying to schedule an appointment. She eventually transferred me to the referral department. Unfortunately, I only speak English, so it tends to work best if I speak to someone who also speaks English. It might be helpful to have a line for English speakers and another line for non-English speakers to ensure everyone, regardless of language, is able to receive good care.
The nurses, front desk staff, and the doctors I have been involved with are absolutely wonderful. The routine care I receive is always on point. If I need immediate care, it's easy to schedule an appointment with either my physician or another skilled doctor. They have online appointments available. I just love the attention and care I receive here.
