Had not been here in a long while, but we went for happy hour and it was wonderful. Probably one of the best in Dayton. Double check- i might be off a little, but the appetizers, pizza, and wine are half price for happy hour. We got there at 4 on a weekday, and it was blazing hot outside, so we sat inside. I was only a little sad we didn't get to fully enjoy the rooftop view, as you can still a lot through the windows behind the bar. The deviled egg flight was excellent, the flavors were balanced and each was good in its own right. The crab cakes needed nothing to go with them, they were perfect as is. The bar staff is well versed and knows what they are doing. The corpse reviver II was light and citrusy, perfect for the heat outside. The Awared winning drink looked amazing, I didn't try it, but plan to next time.
It's our first time there and overall very good experience. The crab cakes are definitely better than the Reuben. We ordered pomme frittes as an appetizer as well as crab cakes. That would have been plenty of food for the two of us. Also we also ordered the Reuben and the carnivorous pizza as our main. The crab cakes won out overall. I have to find out what that specialized drink is called. It's something that has to be filtered several times to be added to the mix. The staff at the bar greet us right away and at least two of them had said that they would be with us momentarily and a third and I think the fourth person put the beverage napkins and asked us what we wanted. Maybe 20 minutes.we enjoyed out experience and would def come back. I like the live DJ. They were playing EDM.

This place is absolutely incredible. The food was so good and drinks were the same. Service was a little slow because she was swamped but doing her very best. Would recommend this to anyone. Ballpark views, Riverscape is amazing... great time!
Pretty cool location and atmosphere. Spacious dining area and appropriate outdoor patio. The waitstaff is very good. Bar staff is a little out of sync, slow, and to be honest boring. The menu could use some updates as well. I'd drop the pizza, seems uninspired and lackluster. The main entrees and salads are fresh. The desserts are delicious. This place is close to being great....just needs some tweaking.
The rooftop across from the stadium is really cool and this place definitely has a reputations for class… So I was pretty disappointed when the service was kind of slow. Even on just getting water consistently or proportionally. We had a table of 6 on the rooftop in the sun. It was pretty hot yet we only ever had one of the water jugs which was constantly out. Additional drinks were often out before we saw our server and here’s the really disappointing part…. The food was just ok. The calamari was actually pretty good for but for something like $24 there was not a lot at all! 3 in our party got the NY strip (2 medium rare and 1 Tare) and 3 got the 24 hour brine chicken. I’ll say personally that the risotto was lacking and didn’t shine probably because the additional wetness and sweetness from the sauce for the chicken. While the chicken was succulent and well cooked it lacked any real flavor and was ultimately just good, but not interesting. Price wise….. I guess it’s ok value for $29 bucks…. But for $55 the steaks were lackluster. Both medium-rares were inconsistent but ultimately labeled as “decent”. The “rare” steak however was decidedly not rare. Frankly for the cost and the reputation it was disappointing. Still a cool spot, but I suspect from seeing a LOT of pizzas on the tables around us the best approach is probably burgers and pizzas, not actual “fancy” foods. People dress up and there’s a cool vibe, but the price and reputation sort of created expectations that weren’t met. To be clear… nothing was terrible just not at the expected quality for “signature” dishes at that price point. I’d probably come back and try the pizza if a ball game was going on.
