Visit to the Phipps during the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. Exciting to see many creative designs with plants and flowers. There was an event for children earlier in the evening. It was much quieter when we arrived. We took about N hour and a half to walk through the conservatory. Great visit.
Wow wow wow I cannot recommend this place enough. Each of the 14 rooms is packed full of an incredibly diverse array of plants, so many of which I've never seen or heard of before. Beyond the entertainment that the majestic plants intrinsically offer, the design of each room creates an experience of exploration and discovery. So many brilliant interactive elements are packed in to make this a wonderful place for children and adults alike! Beyond plants, there are life fish, bugs, frogs, and more to enjoy as well. This place is truly unbelievably and a must see, and all for a pretty affordable price of just about $20 a person!

My family and I took a trip to Pittsburgh. Specifically to visit Phipps during the Christmas celebration. It was breathtaking. The decorations, the lights and the plants were fantastic! It will go down as one of the best holiday places. We’ve visited together. The parking was a breeze. It was very organized with all the holiday visitors. The staff were also super friendly. I definitely recommend.
Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens A truly beautiful and unforgettable experience. If time had allowed, I could easily have spent two or even three full days exploring each section in detail. Unfortunately, because of a busy schedule, I was only able to spend about two to three hours there—but even that was enough to leave a lasting impression. The visit was informative, eye-opening, and deeply relaxing. For someone with a very busy and demanding life, it provided a wonderful change of atmosphere and a rare sense of peace and tranquility. Walking through the gardens helped soothe my mind and reduce stress. What touched me most was witnessing the extraordinary beauty and diversity of God’s creation. The colors, forms, and fragrances of the plants and flowers were simply breathtaking. My sincere thanks to the organizers and staff for the tremendous effort involved in gathering and caring for such a remarkable collection of rare and beautiful botanical treasures. This is one of those special places that makes a trip to Pittsburgh truly worthwhile. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have been coming here for many many years. This place has always been magical! We love how they run with a theme a couple times a year. So much time and effort must go into setting these themed exhibits up. I have brought my wife here before we were married and before kids on date nights. We have come here multiple times also as a couple for a night out after getting married. And, we have brought our kids here several times over the years also. There is a bunch of interactive stuff for kids to do. We have raised our kids to appreciate all living things and love showing them the diversity of this world and the plants that grow throughout our world. I always found this place to be very peaceful and love every visit here we have ever made. I plan on making trips here as long as I’m still breathing. Would highly highly recommend!!!
