Our stay at The Kings Throne Inn & Guest House was completely last minute during a very hectic season of life, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. Even before we arrived, the experience was seamless. We received thoughtful texts and a detailed digital guide that walked us through every step of check-in and our stay, making everything simple and stress-free. When we arrived, Landon welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and even had fresh popcorn popping. The little touches throughout the inn made it feel so inviting. There was a beverage station with coffee, tea, lattes, and more—I made a delicious iced coffee as soon as we arrived. Guests also have access to a self-serve refrigerator, pantry, and a selection of breads and bagels whenever they need them. After a long day, being able to pour myself a bowl of cereal at 11 p.m. was such a small thing, but it meant so much. The inn is thoughtfully curated in a way that feels intentional without being fussy. Rather than feeling like a hotel, it felt like staying in a friend's beautiful home that's comfortable, welcoming, and genuinely relaxing. Checkout was just as easy as check-in, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. If we ever need a place to stay in the Toledo area again, The Kings Throne Inn & Guest House will be our first choice. We'll gladly recommend it to friends and family.
This Bed and breakfast is amazing! The house is beautiful, historic and has thoughtful little decor surprises everywhere. We probably didn't even see them all! It felt luxurious and welcoming at the same time. The beds are comfortable with multiple pillows and great air conditioning. There were also ceiling fans in our bedrooms which I love for air circulation! Multiple plugs, very clean and great showers. We were given delicious homemade snacks, amazing coffee and a great breakfast we enjoyed on the beautiful front porch. I've been trying to think of reasons to return to Toledo just to stay there again. Book it! You will not regret it!

I put together a last-minute trip to Toledo to take US Coast Guard Exams at the Regional Exam Center, and the usual hotels within walking distance of the REC were all booked. I found the Kings Throne Inn, a 5-10 minute drive / 30 minute walk from the REC, and decided to give it a try. I was so happy with my decision! The Kings Throne Inn is quiet, beautiful, and comfortable. Landon is a kind and friendly host. I was able to study in the comfortable living room of the Inn, get a great night's sleep, and have a solid breakfast of eggs, granola, and yogurt with a great cup of coffee before heading to the exam center to test. Parking for the day in downtown Toledo can be found for $10, so it wasn't an issue that I ended up driving in instead of taking the 30-minute walk. I have already recommended the Kings Throne Inn to other people I work with who need to test in Toledo.
Had a great stay. Landon is a great host. Room was very nice and spacious. The house has awesome history and incredible woodwork. I would recommend. There was breakfast provided but it was continental do it yourself, which was ok because I needed to get going for meetings, but would typically prefer a hot breakfast.
What a wonderful place this is. It was our first time in Toledo, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay here. Landon went above and beyond to make everything easy and convenient, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the communal self-serve kitchen was really nice! Having free coffee and snacks just a few steps away was huge. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the Inn is within walking to distance to the Toledo Museum of Art (which is free)! There's also a very cute dog on-site, which is always a bonus. Also, make sure to book your stay via their official website (I believe we got an earlier check-in time as a result, plus you'll be supporting the host more directly). We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in town. Thanks for having us!
