What an incredible family experience at the Oregon Zoo! We had beautiful weather, which made the day even more enjoyable. The zoo is clean, well maintained, and full of amazing animals. We were able to see almost everything, including the elephants, tigers, black bears, and many other fascinating exhibits. One thing that really stood out was how accessible the zoo is. The wheelchair-friendly paths made it easy for everyone in our group to enjoy the visit, and they even offer electric mobility carts for rent, which was a huge help. Whether you're visiting with young children, seniors, or anyone with mobility challenges, the Oregon Zoo is a fantastic destination. We made wonderful family memories and can't wait to come back!
We visited on Friday. Lots of school groups, be warned. We had an amazing day. Though we didnt enjoy that the zoo path is basically forced to one path so it was very bottle necked and crowded for the first few ecosystems. However it did open up at some point and spead out. But it basically is a follow the path and see what animal is there kind of zoo. My kids didn't like that we couldn't just get to the areas we wanted to see most. It's a smaller zoo and can be done comfortably and completely in 4hrs. The Elephants are definitely the stars of the Zoo. The rest was seemingly lacking to my 11yr old. My 4yr old however super loved the majority of it all. The train wasn't the hype I had expected and honestly not worth the add on cost in my option. Overall we loved it however if your not a local, with membership, it's not worth more than a single visit.

This was such a great experience. We were there early, or so I thought but the parking lot was full. We bought tickets at the gate, no attendant, just a couple of tablets. No discounts for students or seniors, that was the only draw back. The zoo is huge and so fun. The areas are well taken care of. My 3 year old has so much fun, and we did get to play in the huge sand box. There are spaces for people to rest and this could be a full day of activities but my son was beat so we did not see the aquatic part. I don’t suggest this zoo when it is super hot as the animals would probably be too tired and hot. They do have shade though. The bathrooms are super clean and the choices of food are diverse. The areas are wheel chair accessible and stroller friendly. There are changing stations in the bathrooms for babies.
A beautiful Zoo my kid loves to explore (and so do I)! Many, many types of animals and typically most are out and about in their habitats. The exhibits blend well with one another, and the landscaping is worthy of a visit on its own! The grounds are so clean and tidy, the gift shop is adorable and we really enjoy when we can listen to a talk or see an animal encounter during our visit. It's my #1 place to bring out of owners. Highly recommend the Oregon Zoo!
We enjoyed ourselves at the zoo. They had a large variety of animals to see. We bought our tickets in advance so we were able to walk right in instead of standing in the ticket line. The park was easy to navigate which was helpful. It made it hard to miss an exhibit. They have plenty of parking spots but you have to pay the meter.
