My grandbaby had a great time playing on the swings. We were doing a park to park run while my wife was at the doctors office. Great view a of the river.
William G. Milliken State Park is such a beautiful and refreshing escape right in the heart of Detroit! 🌿✨ Located along the Detroit River, the park offers stunning waterfront views, peaceful walking and biking trails, and plenty of open spaces to relax. I especially love the lighthouse and the marina — perfect spots for photos and just soaking in the scenery. It’s a great place for a calming stroll, a picnic, or even just sitting by the water and watching the boats pass by. The riverfront pathways connect to the Detroit RiverWalk, making it ideal for longer walks or bike rides. Everything is well-maintained, clean, and safe, and there’s always a lovely breeze coming off the river. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, this park is definitely worth stopping by if you want a slice of nature with gorgeous city and river views. 🌅🚴♀️🌊

Very cool place for kids and adults as well. It surpassed my expectations
I had an amazing time at this marina, my friend is a slip owner here and offered an up day fishing trip, and all the folks were awesome. I honestly can't say much about other attractions since I just boarded him boat and hit the river. However he did share that there are plenty of walking areas around the facility and that the DNR museum is a great place to visit.
$10 to park, but beautiful setting and great views of Canada and marina.
