I recently followed Susan to Sellwood Medical Clinic, and I am so glad I did. Susan is an exceptional nurse practitioner, knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and truly gifted at what she does. She previously practiced in my neighborhood, and she is so good that I would honestly follow her anywhere. She listens carefully, explains things clearly, and makes you feel completely cared for. That kind of provider is rare. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had made the right decision. Emma at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. I’ve always believed that the first person you meet in a medical office sets the tone for your entire experience and Emma certainly did. Because of her professionalism and pleasant manner, I immediately felt at ease. My visit was exceptional from beginning to end. It’s reassuring to know that both the clinical care and the front office experience are handled with such excellence. Highly recommend!
It was the first time to see Dr Kelly since she has been back. It felt almost like coming home to see her & Jody again! I’ve always appreciated the caring, kind spirit of all the staff at your clinic. The Dr gave so generously of her time & attention & that is a unique experience in today’s world. My daughter has been seeing Dr. Moshtael for two years now, and I can honestly say the passion and care she brings to her practice are unmatched. She has a remarkable way of connecting with both parent and child—she helps my daughter understand how her choices impact her health in a way that’s relatable and empowering, while also helping me stay grounded and informed as a parent. Dr. Moshtael is empathetic, understanding, and truly gets it. She listens carefully, communicates clearly, and always takes the time to make sure we feel supported. Whether it’s offering her professional opinion or just reassuring us through a tough moment, she’s consistently there with warmth and wisdom. The entire team—from the nurses to the front desk staff—has also been amazing to work with. They’re kind, organized, and go out of their way to make every visit smooth and welcoming. It’s rare to find a doctor and an office, who combines deep medical expertise with such genuine compassion and accessibility. We feel incredibly lucky to have her in our corner!
Melissa was really great in confirming my diagnosis and course of treatment- I had gone to the emergency room last week on the advice of an advice nurse in my cardiologist’s office. I had a swollen right foot and it was bright red and two toes were brownish looking. I also had shortness of breath. After testing, the ER doctor prescribed an antibiotic and said to contact my primary doctor ASAP I saw Melissa in my primary’s office and after carefully examining my foot, she agreed with the ER doctor’s diagnosis and sent in a prescription for another week’s worth of the same antibiotic. She was very thorough, and is a credit to the clinic where she works.
We have been patients of Dr. Moshtael's for nearly two years and will continue to trust our family to her care for as long as she in practice. We drive an hour each way just to see her. She is an incredible empathetic, hilarious, loving, supportive practitioner who treats our kiddo as one of her own. Her bedside manner is unparalleled to any other practitioner I have ever come into contact with. She is resourceful and incredibly skilled in working with kids and teens. We always leave our visits feeling cared for and with a smile. The Sellwood staff are all very kind and available to support and accommodate. There is also a cute coffee shop up the street which makes getting to the appointment early a plus. ;)
