From consult to completion the Schoenherr team kept us updated on our project. As the tear off of the roof happened, our project manager sent us pictures to show us the progress, as well as any boards that needed replacing. Communication is wonderful, and the team that comes is courteous and efficient! We cannot say enough good things about SCHOENHERR!! They have been in business long enough to know how to do it right! Many thanks for an absolutely beautiful job!! We will forever recommend you to friends and family!!
Full transparency, I’m the guy that when they ask for review, they should get nervous because I’m gonna leave an honest review lol We had planned on going through multiple roofing companies to get quotes, but after the initial consultation, we decided immediately to go with Schoenherr roofing. The process was very detailed and well thought out, they did a their own inspection of our attic to look at the roof From the inside. Scheduling was relatively quick and on time as expected, they did everything from pulling the permits to keeping us updated. Materials arrived on time the crew came and completed the job within a day. Professional crew no issues very good cleanup and follow through. I got text messages throughout the day updating on the progress, which was nice to see My only complaint would be that our project manager was asking for a five star review before the crew even left the driveway. I understand the necessity for five star reviews. It’s the life blood of the company and critical to Sales. However, I hadn’t even gone outside to look at my roof yet and hadn’t even done my final walk-through. I would recommend waiting till the job is complete after the walk-through and then ask for a five Star review. Other than that, I highly recommend using these guys pricing was appropriate not the highest not the lowest but from what I can see the level of the quality is more than acceptable and they were really easy to deal with and communicate to.

We had our roof replaced and attic insulation added last December. While the roof was passable, the insulation job was a serious problem from start to finish. Insulation – Major Issues The salesman specifically sold us on using Attic Pros for the insulation, which I agreed to based on their reviews. On installation day, an unmarked truck showed up with a crew the Schoenherr project lead didn’t recognize — he actually asked me who they were. There was zero coordination. The insulation crew tried installing baffles on decking the roofing crew then tore off, and the damaged baffles were simply reinstalled. After they finished, they showed me a photo of a measuring stick at 12” — but when I went into the attic myself, I found the stick had been placed in a locally mounded area in the middle. Multiple spots had almost no insulation over the existing 3” (some spots you could still see the old insulation). The soffit vents they installed also didn’t match my existing siding and soffit, despite the salesman’s promise. When I asked the crew about it, they said they’re only given white and black vents and had no idea why that was promised. When I called Schoenherr, no one could even tell me who they’d sent. It eventually came out that it was a Schoenherr insulation crew the project manager didn’t know existed. They did come back to fix the missing insulation — but only because I pushed. Most homeowners would have taken the photo they showed at face value. Roofing – Below Expectations The roof was better, but not what I’d expect from a Platinum Owens Corning installer. I found multiple bad cuts, a shingle already tearing, areas where 3” nails were used (a hazard when accessing the attic), and poorly installed drip edge. We’re still finding nails in the yard. Six months later, the roof is still visibly wavy. I also had to specifically request that they send an inspector for the warranty inspection — something they should have arranged on their own — and when he did come out, he dismissed the quality issues I raised. I’m glad I have the warranty, but I would not use Schoenherr again — especially for anything involving insulation.
It was a great experience through the whole process. Matt the Roofing Specialist was very through with preparing our estimate. He did a a very comprehensive inspection and explained very well what our needs were and what schoenherr roofing would be able to do for us. We were in need as the roof decking ws 45 years old and not up to date with the new improvements. The price was very acceptable. .Chad was assigned for our Project manager. The communication was great. We had always been informed every step of the way. We moved forward with the installation shortly. I even got text from Bryan delivering the dumpster and Jake for the product delivery. The work started the next day and I met Luis he project supervisor. Luis informed me what the scope of work was. How they would protect the site and boarded over windows and door. The workers were well organized and quite among themselves. They were completed in one day including a full deck replacement and all improvements Matt offered. Chad was in touch with me for the entire installation process. He sent me photos from a drone several time that day and explained their progress. He always asked if I had any questions or concerns. The following day the gutter guards were installed as well. Chad arrived that day and did a complete walk through inspection and reviewed the the installation results with us. Again asking if we had any questions or concerns and were pleased. This whole operation was best in class. Easy on my part and quickly done. I appreciate the upgraded materials used on the job and the improved methods used. Very professional and courteous. I highly recommend their services.
The service I received was excellent. The first encounter was with Seth, he was very knowledgeable about what I needed and explained everything. Any questions I had he answered and I had complete understanding. I didn’t feel pressured by this company at all to use them. A few days before install I received a text from Chad the project manager and he told me that he would update me on the process and he did just that. I was updated throughout the day on their progress. The next day Chad came by to do a walk through. I have absolutely no complaints and I am very pleased. The company even sent a box of cookies. My roof is more beautiful than before and I’ll recommend this company to everyone.
