Excellent location downtown, but the hotel could use some TLC. This location is close to all the great spots downtown - sports stadiums, Fountain Square, and a ton of excellent restaurants. The staff was excellent as well during our conference. The hotel, however, could use some love. Old elevators, rusty stairwells/entry poles out front, and the room just smelled old. Kind of musty even. Still a very good hotel, but definitely not up to the other Regencys I have stayed at.
Had a blast. I loved the pool area because I felt like a lava lizard on a heat rock but I can understand if other people don’t want to feel like that. I could have stayed in the pool area all day- little tropical greenhouse of heat and joy. Little market downstairs- moderately overpriced and worth it- staff was nice. Sweet treats brought endless joy. Room was clean and acceptable- wasn’t really there for the room so didn’t care. Loved that the hotel was in the midst of endless magical energy of joy. Sports fans/ wedding guest/ bachelorette parties/ girl trips- etc. everyone was so happy. I could have people watched in the lobby all day with my overpriced gummy bears. Sweet little park area across the street with 100 cute dogs and a little outdoor vibe area. You can easily walk to the stadiums/ restaurants/ etc. The walk to the hardrock casino was a bit long- if you’re not a walker- I would uber or something. But if you get snacks along the way- it’s really not bad. Hope to be back.

Great place to stay for experiencing downtown. I stayed over the 4th of July weekend and watched a couple of Reds games. It's close enough to walk technically, but probably not for everyone. It's located right next to the square, so a great place to wander the city. Everything was super clean and no issues with how the hotel was ran. Rooms were in great shape. It's not a luxurious hotel, but I give it 5 starts for the class of hotel it is. Lobby is quite large. There is a restaurant and market in there. I've had drinks at the restaurant before, it is upscale. I'll probably book another Saturday/Sunday for back to back Reds games. Super convenient for that.
Service: The front desk team member (Brandon) was superb. He was very professional and was able to accommodate our check in earlier than the regular time. He was also very kind to congratulate our celebration. These small things matter so much. That's why I love staying at all Hyatt Regencys. Location: This place is fantastic! It's close to everything. The market is about 20 minute walk and is surrounded by tons of excellent restaurants. Room: The room was fine except the floor (carpet) was a bit wet. I'm not sure if it's just cold but it felt wet with our shoes off. Otherwise, it is clean. Their refrigerator is updated and does not make loud noises unlike other hotels. Also, we got a room without a tub, so we were a bit disappointed. Other amenities: The indoor pool is a bit small and not deep (4 feet max). But the glass ceiling makes it feel like outdoors so it's great. Parking: There's no free parking. Considering this is downtown Cincinnati, it's expected. But if you stay during the weekend, many parking garages offer a flat rate of 9 dollars for 8 hours max. Overall, I'd book this place again for it's stellar service and great location for its rate.
A nice hyatt with a great location for activities! I do wish the information on a parking cost was more thorough. Staff were poliet enough. Rooms were clean. Pillows were a bit lumpy but everything comfy overall. I'd come back if I had reason to be in Cincinnati again.
