Great hotel. Great location. Be wary of the foot of the bed. Wooden platform stands out from mattress and I whacked my shin first day and saw stars. I left a towel there after. Also, the website says you get a daily $10 credit to cafe. When I asked at checking they said only one day. So I only used it once. When I checked out and asked again, I was told "its every day." Kind of bummer I was given wrong info.
We had a great 3nights stay. We had the room 1005 and it was perfect. The fitness room was nice and clean (2 bikes, 2 treadmill, weights and stretching areas) with street view. We were able to enjoy a complimentary late checkout! And the location is perfect to enjoy downtown Seattle.
Awesome location close to everything in downtown. The best coffee I’ve ever tried. Rooms a bit small, but okay. Overall great place.

I really was excited to stay here since we usually stay at the larger chain hotels when we stay downtown....I thought this will be fun! We'll, it wasn't. At check in the room smelled musty. The place is almost 100 years old, so ok I get it. We leave to go to the game after about 20-30 minutes and I immediately need to head to the store across the street for allergy meds because I'm super stuffed up and congested. We come back after the game and the room just smelled weird. The smell was really bad in the bathroom. We recently had a long slow leak at home and we had black mold and the smell and air quality were very similar. It was super late when we got back from the game and we were pretty tired from the walk there and back otherwise we would have asked to change rooms...and the desk seemed unmanned as well. We tried to tell the front desk about how bad it was and they said sorry...wrote the room number down and that was it. 11th floor corner room.
The hotel itself and our room were great, but I have to deduct a star for the tiny itty bitty little bathroom that was cramped while there was a ton of unused space in the room the bathroom could have been extended into. Also like every hotel ive ever stayed in, you pull a muscle trying to reach for the TP while on the throne. Why are they all this way?? Who designs these hotel bathrooms to all do this?!
