Walked in and the host was nice! Malik was absolutely AMAZING! He made sure he suggested entree's and drinks. He made sure our first visit was everything, AND IT WAS. His entire section was full and he still made sure he was attentive. I was not disappointed with the food or drinks. 10/10! Money well spent. Atmosphere was cool, great vibes and music. A little snug. But I had an over all excellent experience!
I had an amazing experience at L Station Restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely immaculate — attentive, welcoming, and professional. The food was just as impressive. We ordered the wing platter, yams, mac & cheese, and cabbage, and every dish was seasoned to perfection. The yams had a rich flavor without being overly sweet, the cabbage had a delicious smoky taste, and the mac & cheese was blended perfectly with a smooth, satisfying texture. If you’re looking for flavorful comfort food paired with top-tier service, L Station is definitely worth a visit!

The food wasn’t that great. The drinks was good and the atmosphere was not it at all. The place is small we were sitting by the bathroom and only 1 toilet per bathroom (woman n men). Very pricey, cabbage was overly cooked, lamp chops very small n fatty, bake beans were good, yams alright, catfish was ok, shrimp n salmon bites were good and Mac n cheese was good. This was my first and last time it was 3 of us my and our bill was $360…. Not worth it at all 😕😕
This was my second time trying this restaurant. My first visit a couple years ago ended with a 2 plus hour wait, so we figured going earlier for lunch would give us a better shot. When we first walked in, the welcome was not the warmest. They asked us to sit at the bar even though the dining room was empty and said tables were for reservations only. I told them I could make a reservation right then and they seated us at a table. They also had more seating in the back. The space is small and the decor is okay but could use a little refreshing. We started with the wing platter but the chicken was not cooked all the way through. To their credit they remade it and brought out a fresh order. We also ordered drinks and they were decent, but the pricing was confusing. My drink was listed at $23 on the menu and ended up being $30 with no mention, which did not sit right with me. We ordered an off menu catfish and shrimp entree with two sides. It was very pricey but I have to say the entree itself was delicious. Our waitress turned out to be very sweet and attentive which really improved the experience compared to the first impression we got at the door. Overall there is definitely potential here. With clearer pricing, more consistent hospitality at the entrance, and attention to food prep, I could see this restaurant really going places.
L Station has a small, intimate feel when you first walk in, but there’s more space than expected toward the back. The staff was very friendly, and the bartender gave great drink recommendations. Our server, Malik, was exceptional. The menu can be a bit tricky with brunch vs. dinner options, but he explained everything clearly and helped us make great choices—his service alone is a reason I’ll return. Drinks are on the pricey side but worth it. The fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, mac and cheese was good, and the greens were flavorful (slightly salty for me). My friend loved the lamb chops, and my chicken & strawberry waffles were delicious. Total was about $180 with tip. Worth it. I’ll definitely be back to try the catfish and grits.
