Dr. Bernui was very thorough & covered all of my concerns while not rushing through the visit. He is very personable and capable in my opinion. He hasn’t been in practice very long, but I have every confidence that he is going to be an excellent physician.
Truly one of the best medical experiences I could have asked for. I have a wonderful, well established PCP back in Arkansas who I absolutely adore. Since I now live in Nashville, I knew I needed to establish care here too, and I ended up randomly getting scheduled with Dr. Bernui. The issue I came in with was pretty specialized, but he actually took the time to listen and work through a list of possible diagnoses to rule things out. I never felt rushed or dismissed, which meant a lot. What really stood out to me was his follow up. The following week he personally called me twice to go over my test results and to explain a lab issue that came up. That level of communication is rare and I genuinely appreciated it. When I needed a prescription, it was called in the same day and I had it that night. I obviously hope I don’t need to see a doctor often, but it’s really reassuring to know that if something does come up, he will listen and do everything he can to figure it out. Highly recommend!!!!

In two visits, Dr. Bernui sat with me for more than 15 minutes, just the two of us discussing my medical and personal history in a manner that I could tell gave him insight to the common but important issues of aging. His advice came in a direct but caring manner, and he discussed my options clearly. That wasn’t the case with a previous Dr, who, even with an annual physical, looked at my chart, told the nurse what to prescribe me, and that was it. We hadn’t spoken two sentences. I appreciated Dr Bernui’s interest in me as a person and feel good about the choices we’ve made.
