The atmosphere was absolutely remarkable! 🤗 I had such a lovely anniversary dinner with my husband. It was truly a pleasure to treat him to such a flavorful meal at Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley in downtown Dallas. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind making this our official anniversary spot. Everything was delicious! The fried green tomatoes could have been a little tender, but overall the food was wonderful. Every bite was full of flavor just absolutely savory. Amazingly #Deliciousness Thank you for the great service as well. A big shout out to our handsome waiter, David! Y’all check out that smile and check out my king too. Handsome fellows! My love and I truly enjoyed ourselves. ❤️ If you’re ever in the Dallas area, make sure you stop by Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley… you’ll thank yourself later. 😊 😋
I ordered the red beans and rice with a chicken wing and candied yams. The food was well seasoned and tasted good. However there wasn’t enough food in my to go order. While I waited for over 30 minutes for my order, I noticed that others who were dining in had nice plates with ample portions for a grown up. My to go order did not. I opened my order and found a plate of rice, a big piece of cornbread and what looked like a half cup of red beans ladled to the side. The sweet potatoes were in a small probably cup sized bowl… the price on them was $13.00… I feel like I was ripped off for paying nearly $50.00 for this small portion of lunch. Overall, the time I waited for the to go order, the price I paid for such small portions and the loud night club atmosphere is too much and too little for me.

I went yesterday for my birthday and let me say they did not disappoint. We had the salmon bites, fried pickles, and fried tomatoes for appetizers. Our entrees were fried fish, braised short ribs, lamb chops, ox-tails, lobster and EVERYTHING was AMAZING!! The customer service was Great! I will definitely be going back! It was a Wonderful experience!
I had a true 5-star experience at Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley in Dallas! From the moment I walked in, Latifah and Dee Dee set the tone with their professionalism and warm hospitality. I was seated promptly, and Latifah’s menu recommendations were spot-on. I had the Delicious Oxtails and Grits! Manager Gabby personally introduced herself and checked in to ensure everything—from the mood to the service—was perfect. That level of care really stood out. Wilson made sure I was comfortable throughout, offering help before I even had to ask—top-tier service. And Devin the bartender? Absolutely exceptional. The drinks were some of the best I’ve ever had, crafted with style and class. This team truly delivers excellence all around. I’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The hostesses were kind and welcoming, and I enjoyed the 90s R&B music playing. However, the restaurant itself was very cold, the floors were slippery, and both the tables and chairs felt unclean and worn. I confirmed with the waitress that the eggs were real and without any substitutions, but powdered room temperature eggs were served with unmelted cheese on top. The waitress was kind but, didn’t take initiative regarding my inquiry about the eggs or to rectify my order in addition to asking me “how I was able to tell the eggs were powdered”. The potatoes had good seasoning but tasted frozen, and the catfish seemed cooked in old oil. The highlight was definitely the blackberry lemonade. Sadly, this visit wasn’t enough to bring me back.
