Been with SHFM since 2009 with Dr. Chopra and when she left in 2010, my patient file and care was taken over by Dr. Benjamin Tu since. My care experience by Dr. Tu and the staff at SHFM had been nothing, but professional. Communication through the online patient portal, Dr. Tu and his team were always available, attentive, and responsive! There are several other doctors working in this family practice, but I will always stick with Tu. Yes, there will be a wait for appointments, but when I have an appointment and I arrive on time, I’m always in-and-out within 30 minutes. Not sure what these other reviews were referring that they “had to wait 45 minutes to be seen” BS? Great practice, Dr. Tu is amazing, and I’ll be going here for care until the day I die! Keep up the great work Team SHFM!
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Furlong. She has helped me tremendously and has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've seen. She truly listens and cares.

Went to see Dr Chatha about a year ago because I needed a PCP, she was nice but not personable at all. While telling her my issues she dismissed me, when I called regarding my refill the receptionist was extremely rude and laughing while I was talking to her. Dr Chatha could be a good PCP if she actually showed interest in her patients needs.
I have nothing negative to say about this practice so I’ll just share what I love about them. I am always back in an exam room within 10 minutes of my scheduled appt. time. I have found the staff to be professional and courteous and a few are even downright friendly! You know who you are and you’re a bonus - not just to the practice but to humanity! Keep your light shining!! If I call in regarding a referral or script, they always get back to me promptly. Can you tell I’m impressed with this practice ... I have no plans on leaving anytime soon.
I felt extremely racially profiled! Not only did the receptionist stop speaking to me mid conversation to help out a Caucasian couple, she never even addressed me after. She proceeded to get some woman from the back. The woman then confronted me was extremely inappropriate and rude. I was unsure whom she was or what was happening. she never introduced herself to even let me know why she came out to command orders without asking anything pertaining to my son or our appointment. She was very passive aggressive and dismissive! The receptionist and whom ever this Caucasian woman was their behavior was extremely unprofessional and unprovoked! I will never return, and I'm disgusted by the encountered I endure due to their lack of decorum and so clearly treat people of color in this matter! They are apart of the dissolution of why people of color never receive the proper medical care! The Caucasian woman was Dr. Natalie furlong
