I stayed at the Cambria Hotel LAX for 5 nights with my family (4 people), and unfortunately this was by far the worst experience I’ve had with a Choice Hotel. The front desk staff was always friendly, kind, and helpful, which I truly appreciated. However, the housekeeping service was extremely disappointing. During my entire 5-night stay, our room was never cleaned—not even once. I spoke directly with the housekeeping supervisor, who assured me our room would be cleaned, but it never happened. Later, he told me they were fully booked for the rest of our stay , which apparently meant our room wouldn’t be serviced at all. That’s simply not an acceptable excuse for paying guests. When I asked a housekeeping employee for fresh towels and clean sheets, she was rude and acted annoyed that I was asking. Traveling with four people, it’s unreasonable to expect guests to go five days without room service or even basic housekeeping. I’ve stayed at Choice Hotels for years and have always had positive experiences, which is why this was so disappointing. The excellent front desk staff was the only bright spot. Unfortunately, the lack of housekeeping, poor communication, and rude attitude from housekeeping staff made this a stay I would not recommend. I hope management addresses these issues so future guests don’t have the same experience.
Just got off a 120 contract with my shipping company. All I wanted to do was sleep, and I did. Hotel is Quiet with food on the premises, but much better options in the vicinity. The room is just ok. Mattress too soft. Floor boards are separating. Towels had hair in them and not just one. Sheets and pillows also had hairs. I did ask for new towels on my 3 day and if i get housekeeping service. Which turned into an inquisition about if there was a do not disturb on the door. Regardless if it was or wasn't or at what time it was there. Shouldn't housekeeping be my option if i request during the morning? Couch had been burnt with an iron by previous guests. Couch should not have been in the room. Not fitting for a quality hotel claiming 4 stars. Shower has a partial glass door so water splashes all over the floor and runs out to the entrance of the room. 4star not. Maybe 2 and a half. Been to better highway motels. Coffees nasty too. And, the parking 27 dollars a day!!!!!!!!! There are hotels in the area with free parking. Meanwhile this hotel parking lot is mostly empty on Memorial Day weekend. Believe it that there are much better opportunities than Cambria LAX.!!!

Absolute worst stay of my life. The only thing salvaging this place was Sammy at the front desk who took a moment to hear me. She’s the only person who seems to have hospitality in mind. So thank you Sammy. The location was good as well. The rooms were clean. TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON WHAT ROOMS ARE ACCESSIBLE. DO NOT MAKE YOUR DISABLED GUESTS TREK THROUGH YOUR HOTEL TRYING ROOM AFTER ROOM. Since the girl who checked us in didn't know what rooms were accessible and clearly didn’t know how to finish a check in process we were left locked out of our room the following evening. They didn’t have our name right on the reservation, they didnt even have us even booked into the establishment?? Hopefully you don’t have to interact with Daryl!!!! He is cruel and rude. Unable to listen to the guests experience. Makes them wait for 45 minutes to let them into their room. (Which another employee messed up, but he could not be bothered to hear our experience to help us out). Not a single apology once he figured out they messed up. He tried to call us the following day to discuss the issue and then referred to me as disgruntled, which is where I no longer need to hold my tongue. Daryl, you should take a sensitivity class. You should not be working in a hospitality or service industry based field if you treat paying customers like this. I was disgruntled because you treated me poorly the night before when I tried to explain my situation. DARYL YOU ARE THE WORST. Our other guests in our party were not given an accessible room like we needed, then were made to wait for over an hour while the maintenance people tried to find a shower chair that fit the bathtub. Simple fix…. Give us an accessible room. The staff is undertrained and too busy goofing off with one another to give the customers the attention they deserve. The breakfast was MID and made some of our group sick. Overall one of the worst stays I’ve had EVER and I travel for work so having to write a review about how bad it is…… means it’s BAD I will be reaching out to the assistant GM Kiana to talk more in depth about my experience with Daryl and the woman who failed to check us in and made us try room after room in a wheelchair with all our bags. WHAT A JOKE. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE.
Came to LA for a weekend concert and wanted something close to airport. Not the cheapest airport hotel option but it was also summer season pricing. Lobby and room were updated and clean. Front desk interactions were efficient. If using their shared hotels shuttle to/from LAX I'd recommend calling the separate shuttle number ahead of time to make sure they're aware you need a ride.
There was a guy at the front desk. I didn’t get his name but he is a bald guy (no offense, he’s literally bald). He was GREAT. In just a short moment, he taught me a little bit about patience. He took his time with EVERY guest, without jeopardizing the integrity of his customer service. He was incredible.
