I just had a visit with Comfort Dental in Whitehall and it was the BEST experience that I have had in two years going to other dentist ! I was so nervous from my previous visits! But, the moment I walked in and was greeted by Jerome at the front desk I felt better. Then I met Liz, Dr.G and Donnie ! You were all wonderful! I wanted to hug you all for a peaceful experience ! I don't want to brag too much so that I make more customers come here and make my wait time longer !😂 But, Thank you all !🥲🙏🏾
My experience with this Comfort Dental location was extremely disappointing due to repeated misinformation, poor communication, and a lack of accountability. I feel it’s important to share what happened so other patients are aware. I scheduled two appointments to be fitted for partial dentures after being told by their insurance coordinator that my insurance would cover everything at 100%. When I arrived for my first appointment on April 8, I was suddenly told I needed to pay around $250 upfront. This contradicted what I had been told, and no one could explain why. I left messages for weeks before finally receiving a call back. On May 6, I was told my insurance had approved everything, so I scheduled another appointment for May 9. When I arrived, I was told again that I had “no coverage” and would need to pay out of pocket. This was incorrect. I left without being seen for the second time due to their internal confusion. When I contacted my insurance directly, the representative confirmed that I do have coverage. While on the phone, the representative contacted the office and was told by a staff member that I “did not show up” for my May 9 appointment. This was completely false — I was there at 10:00 AM and was turned away because of their own insurance errors. When I called to correct this, the conversation became difficult, and instead of resolving the issue, I was abruptly dismissed as a patient without a reasonable explanation. I later requested my records and was told they would be emailed. I eventually located them in my spam folder. When corporate responded to my complaint, they stated that I supposedly requested “no contact with the front desk.” This is completely false — I never made such a request at any time. They also informed me that, based on this incorrect information, the dismissal of me as a patient will remain in effect. It is concerning that inaccurate statements are being accepted and repeated at the corporate level without anyone verifying the facts with me. I want to be clear: the dentist himself was excellent. My issue is with the handling of insurance, communication, and repeated misinformation from the front desk and office staff that ultimately led to me being dismissed as a patient. This experience left me feeling misrepresented, dismissed, and blamed for issues that originated within the office. I would encourage anyone considering this location to be aware of how communication and patient concerns are handled.

I had an appointment at 8:00am and was turned away because I brought in my 4 year old special needs kid with me. He was in his stroller half asleep and is well behaved. They cancelled my appointment the moment they saw me come in with my kid due to "a new policy " that they no longer allow kids to come back with patients. There was no kind of communication, no email and no message of any kind. So now I wasted gas and time due to this new policy they failed to let their patients with kids know. Mind you I had this appointment scheduled since 6 months ago and yet again they weren't able to send a reminder of their new policies or anything like that.
Worse place to get dental work you make appointments they don’t honor it ever even if you come early you will still be there hours later for a damn cleaning this the second time coming here because it’s close to home to get wonderful service from front desk just to get to the back and completely ignored for hours unacceptable never again if you want great service go somewhere else they very unprofessional. Why would you ever encourage me to come back so you can make my teeth and mouth hurt MORE NO NEVER AND IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MOUTH YOURSELF YOUR HEALTH FIND A NEW DENTIST
I’ve been going here for about 1-2years now and every experience has been great and quick! I want to highlight my most recent visit with Dr. Winnyk, although the appointment was short (since I brush my teeth very well LOL), it was nothing but a great appointment! He was very attentive to all my worries about my teeth and was easy to talk to! Thank you Dr. Winnyk
