This was, without a doubt, the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. We originally booked a Motel 6, but when we arrived, we were told it had changed to a different motel franchise. There was no proper communication, and they refused to honor our reservation. Instead, they charged us significantly more than our original booking price just to get a room. The front desk experience was a disaster. The receptionist was rude, unprofessional, and seemed to have no idea how to process a reservation correctly. Instead of helping, she made the situation even worse. We were left waiting for nearly an hour at 1:00 AM just to get checked in after a long day of traveling. The room itself was absolutely unacceptable. The entire property had a terrible odor, and the room smelled awful. The restroom was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The towels were carelessly left on the wash basin instead of being neatly placed, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. There wasn’t even a hair dryer, which is a basic amenity you would expect in any motel room. The floors were so dirty that there was no way anyone could comfortably walk barefoot in either the room or the restroom. The entire property felt poorly maintained, unhygienic, and the overall atmosphere was very sketchy and uncomfortable. Between the misleading reservation process, being overcharged, rude and incompetent customer service, the hour-long wait in the middle of the night, and the disgusting condition of the room, this stay was a complete nightmare. I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else. This property needs serious improvements in both customer service and cleanliness before anyone should consider booking a room here.
