Great hotel. Excellent service. Coffee shop was delicious. Really enjoyed trivia at the bar.
Centrally located in downtown Portland this Hotel is a comfortable, quiet, sophisticated retreat. Serving great barista coffee and small bites throughout the day in the Lobby area you also have the choice of a seated restaurant and bar plus a smaller gathering area for cocktails and quick finger food options. The staff are very friendly and attentive which makes for a welcoming experience and the rooms are spacious, clean and well lit giving you a comfortable feeling and with the small gym in the basement you can easily get a quick workout in 24/7. Pet friendly and valet parking are additional perks. A favorite in Portland for sure and well worth the stay.

Great location in downtown Portland. Each staff member I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. Including those working at the breakfast bar. Unfortunately, the rooms are very small. And my first room had a non-functional TV and air conditioning unit. I had to change rooms. Appreciated that this Marriott had more character than your average Marriott.
Added price stuff with minimal response as to why- just presented as a given,(30$ daily fee for?) Small room, clearly the worst of the worst, prime price paid in cash. Have stayed in much better places (embassy suites, etc.) for much less. Outside window is a wall, actually a walled up wall. I have to believe we were given the worst room in the hotel. Almost seems vindictive. No closet, minimal storage, tiny bathroom with smallish shower. Pictures speak for themselves. It's a tiny room, honestly, a closet of a room. Much, much better deals, I was fooled by the superficial reviews online Not happy. Service matter of fact with emphasis on making additional sales. Again, not happy. Great location, bed seems great. Has small fridge. TV has adjustable back. No coffee in room, they charge for coffee in lobby. It's pretty good coffee.
We spent a week at The Woodlark in July, and had a great experience! The staff are so welcoming, and helpful and they even upgraded our room. The rooms are beautiful, and stocked with waters, and nice shampoos/lotions, etc although the rooms are pretty small. The hotel is quiet, but there was an event going on Friday night, which was very loud and even on the top floor kept us up until after midnight. The coffee shop downstairs is delicious! We didn't try the restaurant as it didn't have great vegan options. Hotel is in a good location, with a Target walking distance, and a short walk to public transportation! Overall we were very pleased with our stay, and would definitely recommend to a friend and would stay again 😊
