Beautiful space and kind staff! Super clean and well maintained. It felt like I was walking into my best friends house, Wanderstay had great energy and it was well decorated. I love that there’s access to so many “homey” amenities and gives a well rounded experience. I went to Houston for education, but made it a short trip with a friend, as I had never been. But in all my travels all over the world, Wanderstay just gives something different. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it seems that the space and people in general gives a lot of option and opportunity for more than just a ‘stay’. It could be like a work collaboration or something too. I guess what I’m getting at, don’t just think to book here for a vacation or something, this would be a wonderful place for a work meet or community event too. I definitely underestimated Wanderstay, not that I expected anything subpar, but I didn’t take into account the actual amenities they provide, with a conference room, living room feeling lobby, and a full service kitchen! Definitely check it out! I’ll be staying here again next time I visit.
Wanderstay was EVERYTHING!!! We recently stayed at Wanderstay Hotel and had such a great experience! The location was perfect and super easy to get to, with plenty of parking. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. The rooms were beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail — it felt cozy, unique, and thoughtfully put together. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

My review is most helpful for those considering booking the entire venue. I hosted a women’s holistic wellness retreat and the space worked out perfectly. More so than I envisioned. For a group of 16 with lots of movement (dance and stretching), we each had plenty of space. I’d highly recommend for intimate gatherings that require privacy. We also had an audio tech come in to provide a speaker system. That way no matter where you were within the building you heard the music clearly. The vibrant aesthetics also make photos pop. Thank you, Deidre and your amazing staff!!!
This place is CHARMING! We stayed one night (1/30/26) while visiting the area for a track meet at U of H. We’d previously stayed at the hotel on campus but wanted to try something different. Glad we did! Check-in was easy (thanks Jasmin), the community living was cozy, and our room was filled with not only essentials but individual character as well. Great location for walking to nearby restaurants. Overall, a nice, unique place to stay!
This was, without question, one of the most incredible stays and event experiences I’ve ever had. We rented the entire venue at Wanderstay Boutique Hotel, and it was absolutely perfect for hosting a celebration and having beautiful rooms to relax in afterward. As an event space, Wanderstay is a dream. The layout is ideal for gathering, celebrating, and creating memories without feeling cramped or chaotic. Everything flows naturally, and having exclusive access to the entire property made the experience feel private, elevated, and incredibly special. If you’re looking for a place where guests can celebrate together and then simply walk to their rooms at the end of the night — this is it. The rooms themselves are phenomenal. Spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and unbelievably comfortable. The beds deserve their own review — the softest comforter, fluffy pillows, and that “sleep like a cloud” feeling you rarely get at hotels. After a night of celebrating, being able to retreat into such a calm, cozy space was perfection. Every detail throughout the property feels intentional — from the décor to the cleanliness to the overall vibe. It’s stylish without being stuffy, welcoming without losing its boutique charm. You can tell a lot of pride goes into maintaining this place. This is not just a hotel — it’s an experience. Whether you’re hosting a birthday, reunion, celebration, or intimate event, Wanderstay offers something incredibly rare: a beautiful venue and a comfortable place for everyone to stay under one roof. I cannot recommend this enough and would absolutely rent the entire space again. Truly unforgettable.
