Bathroom floor was dirty. Something sticky like drops of soda or something in many places on the tile. There were long black hairs all over the bathroom and bedding. Shortly after check-in, I went to the desk to ask for a different room, & I was told that all other rooms were pet friendly & would smell! The second night the air conditioner stopped working. The desk got it fixed while I was out that day. Check in and check out were a breeze, but the overall cleanliness of the room was lacking. Also, the airplanes flying overhead are very loud late into the night. This hotel was 30 minutes from DFW, but must be right in line with a flight path, because every plane coming into Dallas was directly overhead in the evenings. Do NOT get a room that adjoins another room. The doors have no weatherstripping to seal to the floor, & I could hear my neighbors casually chatting from the next room. Constant light flickering under the door was also a nuisance.
The hotel was wonderful, always kept clean and extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff were all kind and respectful. Breakfast was offered and every day we went it was fresh and tasted good. There was also a lot of available parking with spots often right in front of your room. Great hotel in a great location.

Stayed here for two nights when coming to DFW for a medical procedure and unable to drive back home until the next day. The room was a suite. I don't know if I requested it because I used points, or they just upgraded me free. But the young man checking me in was very nice The breakfast was ok but really lacked protein options. Thankfully I brought some protein shakes. But was hoping for sausage/bacon/eggs. I did get my fill of carbs with the Texas shaped waffle. That's a must have when staying at any hotel in Texas The one thing I really didn't like is that they had "packets" of shampoo and it was "conditioning shampoo" so they didn't have anything else for conditioner. I could have brought my own had I known, but I didn't plan that well I guess, because I was a little nervous about my surgery and didn't think about conditioner because I was staying at as hotel and thought it would be covered Overall a good experience and I would stay there again if the opportunity arose.
Our wedding ring was stolen from our room while staying at this La Quinta Inn. Pictured is the gap between a vanity and the bathroom wall, which was not caulked. Our wedding ring fell in this gap and we immediately called the front desk. The front desk told us that they didn't have a maintenance person on site until the afternoon to move the vanity, but they would contact us as soon as they were able to get it out. This was at 845 am. At 400 pm, we were told that the maintenance person used a camera to look in the gap and didn't see anything. After multiple phone calls, we found out that a maintenance person never showed up. It was the manager of the hotel, Vidhi Patel, who used the camera. So, between our checkout and the manager going in the room (or during), our wedding ring was removed from the gap in the vanity. We've filed a police report and an insurance claim. For those considering, do not EVER, EVER, EVER stay at this hotel.
This hotel has a nice lobby. It's renovated. Rooms are OK I feel like it gives the impression of it being a new hotel but when I pay close attention I can certainly tell it's not. The showers are old and the floor seems dirty with stains. It gives off a weird vibe. Like when I see a girl with good makeup and then without it and realize how truly she is. It's weird but I think that's the closest I can explain. I honestly wouldn't stay here again. The pillows aren't that comfortable. I'm still thankful for being able to stay here since there are people that don't have a roof over their heads. That's why I'm thankful for everything. It's all about perspective remember. Every little thing happens for a reason and I don't believe in coincidences. You probably had to read this. Remember: never underestimate a message that someone is giving you.
