The hotel is very outdated. It was not really clean and poorly maintained overall. The location is good and convenient, which is one of the only positives. Check-in was also frustrating, as we had to wait about an hour before getting our room. Housekeeping service was inconsistent and they don’t clean the rooms every day. During our stay, on one day the sink was leaking and it caused all of our towels to get completely wet. The biggest issue overall was the room keys. They kept stopping working and we had to go back to the front desk multiple times to get them reset. This continued until the end of our stay. Staff kept blaming us for keeping the keys near our phones, which didn’t make sense since we travel often and have never had this issue at any other hotel. Overall, disappointing experience despite the good location.
Just had a two day stay there this week and yes it was an event week so me and my guest one going knew that it was going to be more pricey. Before going on trip the price including breakfast was around 700. Upon arrival we was greeted with the price of 854 dollars. There was a 100 dollar holding fee that you get 5 to 7 business days after your stay that we wasn’t informed about and a PARKING fee! Not like they take enough money but that’s beside the point. We get to our room and it was filthy. Nasty stuff on the wall, the A/C was filthy, and there was dirty and grim everywhere. So we told them and they changed our room because if we are paying that much for a room you’d want it to be cleaner than what it was. We get to the second room the fridge was broken and the same thing it was filthy. Me and my guest was getting upset. We had already decided to get a different hotel and asked for a refund. They decided to just switch our rooms again and take the parking fee off. Experience wasn’t that great the only thing convenient was it was right beside our event. The fees need to be included on every listing website and it was not listed on the one we booked from. I can say that this hotel was not worth it’s pricing.

My friends and I stayed here for the Penguins vs Caps game this past weekend. We loved the location and easy access to the arena. Lobby and bar are both nice. After check in we went up to our room to get settled in before heading out on the town. My friend noticed something laying on the floor and upon further inspection it looked like it was rodent droppings. There wasn’t just one, there were multiples. The room was nice but could use a little updating. Bathroom was decent, only down fall is there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Make sure you pay for the parking when you check in! It will save you a bunch of money!
My buddy and me got a room here, stayed for the recent game. Front desk people were really nice and the rooms seem much cleaner comparedto the last time we stayed! Don't know whats changed, but we definitely saw the difference in the quality of cleaning. Cambria is a great place, and the location is super convenient if you wanna go watch a game. Give it a shot, you wont be disappointed!
Proximity to downtown is unbeatable, next to the PPG Arena and walking distance to the Union Station. The rooms are quite decent in size. Cons: Either the linens were old and stretched out and loose to fit the bed or the person didn't know how to make the bed. The shower was slippery around the edges which means it's not cleaned properly.
