I had the Dungeness Crab Melt. The crab tasted very fresh. Got a water facing view seat. Thr ambience was good. The sandwich was quite delicious. My friend tried the clan chowder and he was a fan of it. We also tried the crispy calamari, and we loved it. A good sea food place.
Great breakfast choice at Pike Place Market. A bit pricey but very generous with the crab and smoked salmon. Friendly service. Plenty of seating on 3rd floor with great harbor views.
Arrived just half an hour after opening and had to wait about 15 minutes in queue. The food was churning out super fast in the kitchen and the quality was solid, although you pay a premium for the location. There were more seats and better views at the second floor.

If you’re looking to soak in the atmosphere of Pike Place Market, Lowell’s Restaurant offers a prime spot, but the food quality is inconsistent. Here is a breakdown of our recent visit. The Food Clam Chowder: This was the highlight of the meal. It was genuinely delicious and a great way to start. Cheddar Burgers: Unfortunately, these were a letdown. The patties were dry and completely unseasoned, clearly relying solely on the sauce for any hint of flavor. Fries: By the time our order arrived, the fries were already at room temperature. Value: Prices are undoubtedly steep, though given the prime location in the heart of the Market, this was expected. Atmosphere & Logistics The View: Dining on the third floor offers a fantastic vantage point—easily the best part of the experience. Comfort: While the tables are decent, the chairs are uncomfortable and could use an upgrade. Efficiency: The line was quite long when we arrived, but it moved at a decent pace. Service: The ordering and seating process was a little confusing for first-timers, but a helpful woman at the stairs stepped in to explain how everything works, which we greatly appreciated. Final Thoughts Lowell’s is a classic "location" spot. If you are prioritizing a great view of the waterfront and the energy of Pike Place, it serves that purpose well. However, if you are looking for a high-quality meal, you might find the kitchen performance lacking compared to the premium pricing.
Restaurant was very busy and seemed popular. We had a larger party (9) which made seating a little bit challenging. Staff was very helpful when ordering. Our group ordered a mixture of items. None were amazing, everyone commented that their just didnt have a lot of flavor (except the fries which were excellent). They might have had a bad day when we visited, give them a shot. Very cool location.
