RickJohn roofing was incredible to work with and I feel very good knowing my slate roof was worked on by them. Keith was able to inform me of everything I needed to know about my new slate roof, the maintenance on it and what to expect from the work he'd do. When he was finished he went over it all and showed me before and after pictures. Would highly recommend RickJohn to anyone who wants to feel safe and secure with their roofing needs.
Rickjohn Roofing provided fair pricing, excellent communication, and true professionalism throughout our project. Their crew was skilled, neat, and respectful of our property. With a Lebo home, nothing about our roof was cookie‑cutter -- they had to custom‑make all the soffit and flashing to match the limestone, and they color‑matched everything perfectly. The replaced dozens of slate tiles and you would never know. Their craftsmanship really showed in the details, and they worked seamlessly with our general contractor to keep the project moving smoothly. Called a few roofing companies who either did not service the area or quoted outlandish numbers. Called Rick last week and sent him a few photos, and he gave me a resonable quote. His two guys Mike and his partner came out today to perform repairs and I'm extremly satisfied with the results. Guys were extremely professional as well!! Will recommend RickJohn to my firends / family who are in need of roof repairs.
I generally do not write reviews, but my experience with Rich and his team was so stellar, I had to share. First, I contacted our tile manufacturer to get contractor recommendations, as I had previously hired a company that specialized in tile roofs, but that had not done a good job for us. The fact that Rick John was among the names provided by Ludowici said a lot to me. Second, when Rich came to the house, he took time to understand what our situation was, and he even flew a drone so he could get a closer look at the roof to help assess and map out next steps. As opposed to a project price, Rich proposed an hourly rate for the work. I was very skeptical, because I felt like I was giving them a blank check, and I had no idea how much the project would ultimately cost. In the end, however, I see that he was trying to be fair to both of us. His team worked diligently and efficiently, and I feel that the final price was very fair. Third, when Nick came on site to do the work, he was an absolute gentleman and professional. He was engaging, and took time to update me on what he was finding, and listened thoughtfully as I provided additional information on the issues we had been experiencing. He treated my home and me with the utmost respect, and he clearly takes pride in doing excellent work. Overall, Rick John provides something that is hard to find in the residential construction industry - - a honest, professional, trustworthy partner. I highly recommend them, and I thank them for doing great work for me and my family.
RickJohn Roofing is one of the few local companies still specializing in slate roofs, and their expertise truly shows. As a homeowner with a slate roof, I appreciate how knowledgeable, friendly, and kind their team is. They’re in high demand because of their unique skill set, but they communicate well throughout the process, providing updates and always remaining patient and courteous. I highly recommend them!
