We were in town for Nate Bargaetze's comedy show at the Gainbridge Field House. We booked the Hampton so we didn't have to drive home afterwards. The Hampton was within walking distance from the hotel and the crowd size was overwhelming. 😳 The hotel was great! People were nice, helpful and informative. Absolutely NO ONE lost their temper or rushed the service despite the lines of people trying to check in or arranging valet parking. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with towels and all other necessary supplies. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a clean, safe place to sleep. It was easy to get to, and the valet parking was a godsend.
First time here and will stay here again. The service we got upon check in was amazing - helped us find parking across the street which was 1/2 the price of valet. The rooms were great except our room if 731 needed more lighting (which was my reason for the 4 star on the room). Having said this, this is the best hotel we have stayed at regarding AC. I have never seen a thermostat in a hotel room that goes down to 50. We tend to find hotel rooms on the stuffy side and ac not all that great. I wish all Hilton/Hampton brand hotels would have ac like this hotel. The hot water - best! The bed - in my opinion was great. We did not eat the hot breakfast as we were in a time crunch - however the lady who I did not get her name - asked if she could box anything up for us. We got here late and checked out early so can’t comment on the location but from what we saw driving to and from hotel there seems to be a lot of places to go and eat at. For sure stay at this hotel if you are in the area. This will be our go to hotel going through Indy in the future.

Stayed here for the TSO (trans-siberian orchestra) since it was so close to the field house, and it was so enjoyable! Damien at the front desk made the check in process fun and engaging, he even thanked my husband for his silver status! The rooms were decent and the bed was extremely comfortable. The view we had was of the circle, and the lights were gorgeous. Would definitely recommend staying! The staff is amazing, the rooms are cozy and the views are beautiful.
I did not stay here but I won't be either in the future. There is parking on the East side of the building that you can use for a Pacers game which is great but DO NOT CROSS THE PAY LINE! Hampton Inn has valet parking right past the QR Code signs and they will put a piece a paper on your car to get more money from you because you're supposed to know that it's valet parking and that it's owned by Hampton Inn. I spoke to the valet and they have brought up the issue to their manager but the manager is ignorant to the complaints and refuses to mark the area better. So by all means, the manager is refusing to help out the public and take cash from hard working citizens who just want to enjoy a Pacers game, concert, or whatever event is going on in the area. That said, the public parking area is perfectly fine. The price is 30 dollars (At the time of making this review) and it's very easy to use. But I will reiterate, the manager of the Hampton Inn refuses to mark the valet area properly and expects everyone to "Know the difference." That is enough for me to never stay here or ever seek a room at this place. If the manager is stubborn and won't listen to complaints from fellow citizens, then they are obviously not going to accommodate to your needs if something goes wrong in your room and so on. There are plenty of nice hotels around the area or even a few miles outside of the city. So feel free to do your own research and see if there's a place better around the area.
The location is perfect if you have to attend an event at Gainbridge. The room was spacious BUT extremely dark. Only lights in the room was the small desk lamp, the two small reading lamps above nightstand, and the overhead light at the entrance. In addition, there was no soap at the sink so you had to turn around and get soap from the shower dispenser to wash your hands. Lastly, the bathroom ceiling looked like it was about to cave in with plaster peeling and huge water stains. Honestly, I suggest not renting the room until it's fixed (821).
