★★★★★ Absolutely worth a visit Denver Art Museum was one of my favorite experiences in the city. The building itself is stunning, and inside the museum feels spacious, modern, and very well organized. I especially loved the Indigenous Arts of North America galleries — powerful, beautiful, and thoughtfully presented. The design and decorative arts sections were also inspiring, with so many details you want to stop and look at. Everything was clean, calm, and easy to navigate, and the views from the museum added an extra “wow” moment. I could easily spend hours here. Highly recommend!
I had the chance to visit the Camille Pissarro exhibition earlier this year, and it was a truly beautiful experience. Seeing these Impressionist masterpieces in person is inspiring - the light, color and atmosphere feel alive. The Denver Art Museum created a beautiful and thoughtful presentation.

I couldn't spend enough time at this museum! There's not enough time in a day to simply look at every single piece of art. We arrived at 1pm, easily spent two hours on one level for an exhibit, another hour on a different floor and before we knew it, it was closing time. Next time I'm spending all day! There's so much to see and be inspired by. ❤️ the student, teacher & military discount.
What a treasure! We've learned to take advantage of memberships at various Denver cultural centers, and the D.A.M.membership is our most recent. It is so wonderful to be able to take advantage of "members only" events and exhibits that are scheduled at the museum. Our most recent visit was to view the Camille Pissarro viewing and take the self-guided audio tour. The educational experience from discovering details about the artist and the history behind the paintings was enlightening!
It really is an amazing place. I don't know why I couldn't give it quite five stars, probably because the places I wanted to see were closed. But it really is definitely worth a visit. It's amazing. Also, I took this infrared photo of it a couple days ago when it was a bright sunny day. The infrared turns the blue sky black and I find it really interesting .
