Nice clean park area. Good place to spend a half hour walking around. Small man made waterfalls from water canal. Bathrooms and parking. Would not drive far out of my way to come here but we knew from other reviews.
Interesting visit. We just had a heavy rain storm the day before. The water was brown with turbidity. The falls are neat. And the mechanics of the channels the water can go through are interesting. It's free, and just a quick stop, but worth checking out. Also, there is some good history about the falls.
This should be a historical landmark as it was the very first hydroelectric station built in Arizona in the early 1900s and is still operational today. providing electricity to approximately 150 homes. It's also open 24/7 so that's a plus.

Stopped at Arizona Falls with my Granddaughters. We enjoyed looking at the falls and reading and learning about hydroelectricity. Lots of cool things to see. A nice city park.
Great stop if you are in the area. I’ve lived in Arizona for 20 years and never stopped by here! It’s cool to learn about the water systems and how the canals create power through SRP. It’s a peaceful place, a great stop if you’re running or hiking along the canal as well. Will be back if I’m ever in the area again.
