Lindey's

I've been coming to Lindey's for the better part of three years now, and nearly everytime, they wow me with the quality of service and food. However, the more I think back on it tonight, the more disappointed I am by the latter. My appetizer was phenomenal, a rich and complex dish that was a perfect start to my night. However, the lobster risotto just didn't hit the mark. The snap peas were fighting with the consistency of the rest of the dish, rather than working cohesively with everything else. Along with the risotto itself not being seasoned or rich enough for what I'd expect from a lobster risotto. The dessert, a pecan tartle was, however, very delicious. I don't know what I expected, but it was incredible either way! The caramel sauce added a much needed depth to the tartlet and being served a la mode was very nice as well. While I enjoyed my time at Lindey's, it was the first time I left feeling a little disappointed my my experience. I will be returning, as all restaurants have the occasional mishap or maybe it was just me who was the problem! Whichever is the case, I look forward to coming back and trying more of what I love so much about Lindey's.

A friend recommended this place, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I went with a group of friends, and even though the restaurant was jam-packed, our reservation made all the difference—we were seated right on time with no wait. Our server, Corey, was fantastic—very friendly and knowledgeable, and he made some great recommendations. I started with the lobster bisque, which was phenomenal, and we shared a few appetizers that were just as impressive. For my main course, I had the filet mignon, and it was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My friends ordered pasta and pork chops, and they couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. What really stood out was the level of service. One of the supervisors, Lisa, came by to check on us, which added a nice personal touch. She was warm and welcoming, just like the rest of the staff. Yes, the prices are on the higher end, but the quality of the food and service makes it well worth it. I highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in the area.
