I’d definitely recommend this business. Staff are very kind and helpful. I went in not knowing what to expect and felt respected through the process. They were very thorough in diagnosing the various problems with my car. They walked me through in understanding the seriousness of various issues and what was most urgent to address. When it turned out that even after they had spent so much time with me explaining everything I wouldn’t be able to afford repairs at the moment, their kind demeanor never changed.
My daughter trusted Ernies Automotive services because someone referred her. First request was to do the diagnostic because she wasn't sure what the issue was besides the over heating and loud noise.it was suggested to her to fix power stirring, windshield wippers, tighten bolts ,cover an exposed holes .she was notified within 24hr .her vehicle was ready totaling $1,500 she paid. After picking the vehicle up drove less then 4miles home the car was overheating again.it was towed back to the shop . They called her saying she needed a radiator. bottom line she originally ask for a diagnostic for overheating and loud noise. Another $800 was requested for a radiator but was told it could be other heating issues. Keep in mind she originally asked for a diagnostic.

Had ac/heater work done paid a hefty price but problem was not solved. When I tried to get this problem rectified Nate Fredrick's put his hands on me aggressively ( I'm a 62 yr old man) and told me to get off his property if I didn't he will call the police . I've done business with Bill the original owners for 5 years. I asked for the corporate phone number and was told there isn't one . If corporate reads this I hope they reach out to me . This is not how managers treat the customers.
Some very nasty attitudes over the phone. Zero respect and blatant disregard for customer service. Overcharged for simple maintenance, calling around to other shops I got quoted the same repairs for much lower.
Probably the only honest mechanic in Columbus. I had a severe oil leak in my car after an oil change at a local quick oil change shop. The manager of the oil change place claimed that my car was old and that it wasn’t their fault. I initially took my car to a different shop for a diagnostic, and that shop claimed the oil cooler was broken, and quoted me $3700 to fix it. I was floored by this, because the online quote from the same shop was $500-650. After they refused to budge, I found Ernie’s who gave me a far more reasonable quote for the same repair. I had my car towed there, and got a call from Ernie’s almost immediately. Imagine my surprise when Ernie’s said that whoever had changed my oil had left the o ring off, and that’s why it was leaking oil. The first shop had missed this obvious issue, and proceeded to quote me an exorbitant amount for a repair my car didn’t need. Ernie’s fixed it and I picked my car up the same day. I have had no other problems. Total repair was $16. Unfortunately for Ernie’s they now have a customer for life. :) Save your time and come here first.
