Clean, comfortable, spacious. Best free hotel breakfast ever. Location is convenient off expressway with many chain restaurants but you will need to drive to any tourist attractions. Pool does not have a deep end only 3.5 ft, not good for doing laps but great for kids. Very quiet - we were right across from the elevator and never heard anything.
The guy who works the front desk in the morning is great! However most of the other front desk staff was rude and the bar had very limited options. The bathroom is extremely tiny and had mold on the ceiling along with clear patch work that had been done on the ceiling. The room was freezing the options were to either turn off the air or be cold. The rest of the hotel also needed to be deep cleaned. The balconies inside look like they are about the fall off. The pool is very cold. Even the air in the room is chilly. It also needed to be cleaned better because there was a film developing on the floor of the pool.

We stayed here because of its proximity to the children's museum which we were visiting the next day. It was a convenient drive to the museum which was nice. The hotel from the outside is very pretty, parking was easy as was check in. At check in the staff asked if I wanted water. When I said sure she handed me my hilton honors bag??? I guess I would not have gotten that had I said no? The room itself was fine but dated. The bathroom needed a good clean as our shower had hair in it and the shampoo/conditioner bottles had gunk on them. Luckily we were on the second floor because only one of the two elevators on our side of the hotel were working and was very slow. We took the stairs most of the time . We stopped down for the reception hour but everything was picked over and there was no sign of replenishing in site. The variety was lacking and with nothing really left to choose from we all took a cookie. I then went to the bar to grab a drink and was completely and totally ignored for about 4 minutes before I just gave up. When I walked up and stood to wait the bar tender was speaking to a regular. Totally fine, they conversed and I waited. Then a man sat down next to me and she took his order with no acknowledgement of me at all. She got the man his beer, looked at me and then walked to the other side of the bar and stood with her back to me. After a minute or so on that side of the bar she offered some others a refill, still without looking my way. So I gave up. When we went back to our room we pulled out the couch because we needed it for sleeping that night. There were no sheets on the couch so I text messaged (per a text I had received) asking for sheets and blankets. This was at maybe 630pm. I never got a response so my husband went to the front desk. I will say after we went to the front desk they were sent up promptly. I finally got a text response at about 3am asking if they were ever brought up. Overall the stay was fine it just wasnt great.
This is a great place to stay after enjoying your day at the Indy 500. They have everything decorated for race fans and even had checkered welcome bags for Hilton members filled with snacks and items for the race like sunglasses and ear plugs!!! Rooms are great. There is a restaurant on site that is fantastic. Staff is so friendly and helpful. There is a great complimentary breakfast buffet as well. We are planning to stay here again when we return to the Indy 500 in 2027!!
Here visiting for the Big ten championships I liked the style of the building it reminded me of hotels I stayed in when I was younger. The highlight of my stay was the hospitality of the entire staff specifically a kitchen worker named Rhoda. Every morning when my family and I came to breakfast I felt like I was sitting down to eat at my mom's house. It was very familial and heartwarming, being the oldest daughter who misses those moments so dear. Breakfast was decent and better than most. Room was large. The things I didn't care so much for; Only two elevators were working and they are exceptionally slow. The pool was nice but we noticed a drain pipe attached to the room above was leaking shower water into the pool which I brought up to front desk and they said they would have maintenance look at it but to me that is unsanitary. The bathroom is incredibly small and poorly ventilated, tubs and sinks drain very slow. I noticed a lot of cover up spray on the mold rather than repairs. The fold-out couch didn't fold back up and my husband gashed his leg open trying to get it to fold back in. Given the events that will held here I assume the prices were marked up accordingly but given the condition of the amenities I felt like the price point was too high. I feel like this property has a lot of potential as I build Hilton hotels and this one is unique but proper upkeep needs to be addressed and maintained. My stay here was okay but the hospitality is really the only reason I gave it a four-star because the staff was absolutely wonderful.
