My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Dayton Beavercreek was marked by a level of disappointment that no reputable hotel brand should allow. From the moment I checked in, it became clear that the property was operating well below the standards expected of a modern Hilton‑branded hotel. The condition of the hotel was the first and most glaring issue. Public areas felt worn and poorly maintained, with cleanliness that hovered far below acceptable levels. Instead of a welcoming, polished environment, the space conveyed a sense of neglect that set the tone for the rest of the stay. Service did little to counterbalance these shortcomings. Staff interactions were inconsistent, rushed, and lacked the professionalism and attentiveness that define quality hospitality. Simple requests felt like inconveniences, and there was little sense of warmth or genuine care for guests’ comfort. The room itself continued the pattern of underperformance. Maintenance issues, lackluster cleanliness, and an overall dated feel made it difficult to relax. What should have been a comfortable retreat instead felt like a space in need of significant attention and investment. Even the basic amenities failed to impress. Whether it was the quality of the bedding, the condition of the bathroom, or the general upkeep of the facilities, everything suggested a hotel that has fallen behind and is struggling to meet even modest expectations. Taken together, the experience was far from satisfactory. With weak service, poor cleanliness, and an overall lack of care, this stay did not reflect the standards associated with the Hilton name. I cannot recommend this location, and I will not be returning.

I checked in November 28th 2025 I would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding service I received during my stay. Your front desk associate, Bree…made a memorable impact through her professionalism, warm demeanor, and willingness to assist. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with genuine kindness and answered my questions with patience and clarity. She ensured a smooth check-in experience and went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. Outstanding customer service is not always easy to find, and her attentiveness truly elevated the quality of my stay. She is a wonderful representative of your hotel’s standards. Thank you for employing such dedicated and thoughtful staff. Also my room was clean spacious and very cozy I will be returning soon
The young man who checked us in was very friendly, but was also quick to mention that members can check in on their phones and said it in such a way that heavily implied then we would not have to bother him in order to check in. We had a 3 day stay and not once saw any member of housekeeping. When we entered the room it did not take long to find out the sheets on the bed were stained with yellow splotches. Luckily we brought our own pillows because the ones provided had absolutely no support in the whatsoever. I will say the highlight of our stay was the bathroom. We were impressed with the full size shampoo and conditioner bottles as well as the hair dryer. Unfortunately the tub had no mat in it and it was extremely slippery to step into and out of. Finally the door to the room, it looked like at one point it had a mechanism to hold it open, but the other half was broken clean off, and instead would slam very loudly whenever the door was attempted to be opened more than half way. The hotel's luggage carts also left lots to be desired, as well as the maintenance to their sidewalks + parking lot. Throughout the entire 3 days stay the sidewalks were snow topped despite it only actively showing the night before we first arrived. I still gave the place a 4 star review because the staff that I were able to speak to were friendly, they even gave my husband a cookie. The location was the main reason I picked the building and it was ultimately convenient being so close to a large shopping mall, shared a parking lot with food + drink places, and was very close to a car wash. Also the TV provided in the room worked wonderfully. Beds run on the stuff side if thats something you're looking for in a hotel. Personally I did not have much of an opinion, I was rather upset about the stained sheets though that part was disturbing.
First off the front desk employee, Bree or Bryanna is fabulous. Super friendly, helpful, etc. We stayed here for one night. My husband is a travel nurse and we are new to the area. The room was reasonably clean but could have used a little more. The tub had was not what I would consider clean. They had non working jets that had mold/mildew around them. The mattresses could use a comfort upgrade but were okay. When we checked in at 8 something, we were told dinner ended at 9 and drinks ended at 10. We went up to the work and around 8:30 my husband walked down to order food. The kitchen was closed. We decided to take our son for a dip in the pool. The door to get into the pool area wasn’t working. We had to go to the desk, get the employee to open and she had to prop it open. She said their card reader had not been working properly. Get in, around 1/4 of the bottom of the pool was covered in grossness. We decided not to swim. We let the front desk know about the pool. She called up to the room and offered us breakfast vouchers and told us to use our food and beverage credit on snacks from the shop. I had to reach out I received my bill because our food and beverage credit was not applied (they are correcting it). The location was great!!! I actually hate that I won’t be staying there. I used points for this stay so at least I’m not out any $$ technically but I hate that I even spent points on it.
Decent Hilton. Beds could use new mattresses. A little soft. Our initial room, someone had smoked in it. Desk staff quickly changed our room once we told them. Very accommodating. Tammy in the restaurant was awesome. Will stay there again.
