TLDR: The company was recently bought out by A1 Mechanical, so be sure to check recent reviews and not the old ones they're still riding on. They're expensive - I personally feel he intentionally overcharged us. When I asked about the breakdown he skirted the question which was even worse as far as trust. He had good customer service and did the job, but the pricing did not feel honest or reasonable. --- Much better service than other companies I called - starting with my phone call answered by a real person and not a robot pretending to be a person. They came out same day (initially scheduled the next day, then called when they had an opening same day). He thought it was one thing, verified and found it didn't work so he did another thing. He checked several times that the heat would kick on before calling it good, which I appreciated. It was expensive. More expensive than competitors. $125 just to come look (most expensive one I called others were more like $99 or $110) and $245 to clean the burners, which seems excessive for cleaning and not even needing parts. He was here for 40 mins. I suspect he also charged for the part he did where he was incorrect that it was the issue, which was not our fault at all.
I would highly recommend Outstanding Heating and Cooling. My older gas furnace was short cycling in one of the coldest days this winter. I was so worried it was failing. Outstanding came out and said everything was fine and then ask to see my furnace filters. Come to find out, my very pricey anti pollen filter was not allowing any cold air return and furnace was over heating. It was a relief and he replaced the filter with just a cheap less dense filter and it’s worked fine through the entire brutally cold winter. I feel I can trust Outstanding with my HVAC needs. They do not try and sell me what I don’t need and that’s more rare these days.

After contacting 4 to 5 other HVAC dealers for quotes, I found out about Trent’s business, Outstanding Heating & Cooling by way of a brother. A niece of ours had told my brother. She knew Trent for many years thru her realtor profession. Trent is incredibly responsive and quickly made arrangements to come out to evaluate my HVAC requirements and submit his proposal. I was most impressed with Trent in that he had the specs for my home from a County website and had a real good idea what size system would be best for me, even before walking into my home. He did want to verify some things with an actual on-site visit, but he had a very good idea about many spec variables with my home. He pointed out a few things none of the others had mentioned, which I appreciated. He just seemed very knowledgeable about HVAC and was “into it” as they say. Trent is excited about his profession and always learning, was my impression anyway. The installation was done very, very well. As with anything, things can happen. At the end of the job, I noticed something that the installers had not seen that was not good. Within 10-15 minutes it was corrected with no questions asked or excuses being made. That is when you know you are working with a good crew and company! Things don’t always go perfectly in life, but they quickly reacted and made it perfect! Trent has a good team and runs a good business.
We have used Outstanding Heating and Cooling many times for general maintenance, so it only made sense that we have them install our new Furnace and Air. The process was way too easy. The estimate was fair and accurate. They arrived on time and finished the job quickly. Furnace, Air and iWave-R air purifier. Eddie has followed up with us twice since the install to ensure that everything is to our satisfaction.. Would highly recommend.
Best HVAC company around. Very professional with great workmanship. Owner is customer centric which is hard to find. The Bryant high efficiency system will send Outstanding alerts when problems occur. I highly recommend them.
