We had tickets for the Freedom Plane exhibit and it was amazing to see those priceless documents. We had never been to History Colorado before and enjoyed all of the exhibits. We just wish we had allowed more time, definitely worth your time. All of the staff were friendly and helpful and we plan to visit again.
I went out of my way to try to come here to see the 90s exhibit & the fossils that I had seen online, but they had neither. I saw the rest of the museum and it's just ok. It's pretty and clean, I just think it needs more exhibits. I do have to admit that my favorite thing here is the fact that kids can play here. They have a slide and everything. That was pretty great and refreshing. Most museums don't have that. The staff here was pretty great. Very friendly and informative 👌 thank you 😊

Everyone in Colorado should make a point to visit this museum! Great for ALL AGES! Even though I’ve lived here my entire life, I was surprised by how much I learned about our incredible state. It’s a fantastic experience for kids, but just as engaging and educational for adults. Ryan, our guide, truly made the visit memorable—I can’t recommend him enough. He’s amazing with kids and has a way of explaining things that’s clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I’ve been a couple of times now, both with kids and on my own, and each visit has been very different—I always walk away having learned something new. It’s the perfect spot to take out-of-town friends or just a great excuse to get out of the house and do something worthwhile!
This is a truly fantastic museum that has a lot of great exhibits. Honestly anybody who likes the state or just wants to learn about it should definitely visit here. And it was really cool to see the three cards of George Washington Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr side by side. I know this is a temporary exhibit, but speaks to the quality of the museum for sure.
Fascinating to see National Documents gallery as well as rest of museum displays. Easy access and parking early.
