I've been going here for about two years and usually have had a great experience. However, last time that I went for a cleaning, it was pretty awful. I had a different hygienist this time, and she said that I would need to do a deep cleaning. I wasn't sure why, as the last 2 times I've gotten my teeth cleaned, they just did a regular cleaning and said that everything looked great and to keep doing what I'm doing (brushing twice a day and flossing once a day). I let her do the deep clean, though, and it was so painful and rough. I've had a deep cleaning before, and it was NOTHING like this. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and discomfort, but I almost had to ask her to stop. After the cleaning, she told me that I was bleeding a lot more than what was documented at my last cleaning, even though I have not changed anything about my dental hygiene routine. She also told me that I needed to come back for an appointment in 3 months, rather than 6 months, because of this. When I got home, there were spots along my gumline that remained pretty sore throughout the day. Also, when I brushed and flossed my teeth that night, my gums bled like they never have before. Neither of these things happened the last time that I got a deep cleaning, and I seriously believe that she damaged my mouth doing that incredibly rough deep clean. Again, I have usually had a good experience with this office. I hope that this can be rectified at some point, because this experience was enough to make me start looking for a new dentist.
I have been to the practice twice recently...to get my teeth cleaned and for prep for a new crown. The hygienist Jessica was professional and thorough. She offered good advice on how i can improve my oral health. I will definitely see her again. The dentist Dr. Mugianto and the assistant were also great. They were fast and efficient, and provided a virtually pain free experience. The front desk staff was pleasant and Tanna got me all set for my upcoming appointments. 5 out if 5 experience!

I went in for a regular teeth cleaning. Hygienist Jessica stated i needed deep cleaning and rescaling. I was just there in 6 months before no deep cleaning needed. I ask them to approve deep cleaning and rescaling approved through my dental insurance and to do the regular cleaning now. Both Dr Muguato and hygienist refused to do regular cleaning. Then was given a number to call there customer care center to fix issues. I never received a call back as promised. I had to call them each time. I have been owed money for a long time. It was never mentioned or check sent out. I had to request it. I was told it takes 4-6 weeks to get a refund. Still have not received refund. I would find another dental office. I have been told by another dentist office i do not need a deep cleaning.
I’ve been a longtime patient and have had some very good hygienists here over the years, though there appears to be frequent staff turnover. I’ve continued to return primarily because of the convenience. At my most recent visit, I was scheduled for a routine cleaning, which never happened. Within minutes, I was told about “issues” from a prior visit that had never been disclosed to me. X-rays were taken, but no thorough cleaning or full exam was completed. I was then told I had deep pockets and needed multiple deep cleaning appointments. After waiting approximately 45 minutes, I was presented with a treatment estimate. When I asked about the regular cleaning I was scheduled for, I was told there was no longer time and that I would need to reschedule. What I find unacceptable is that this recommendation was made without first completing a thorough cleaning or reviewing and comparing findings to my prior x-rays or records. Presenting an expensive treatment plan before completing basic care or a comprehensive comparison undermines trust. After returning home and reading other reviews, I was concerned to see that similar experiences appear to be common. At this point, I no longer feel comfortable continuing care here and will not be returning, despite the convenience.
I've been seeing Dr. Mugianto for my dental care for years now. He's always attentive and makes me feel like I'm getting top notch care. The dental hygienists have also always been great but I recently received an exceptionally good cleaning from Kenyota. She was patient but efficient and had great communication!
