I'll start this review off by saying if you're not a Dodger fan then don't book this hotel there's Dodgers everything!! Second the front desk team is trash. I called 8 hours before my arrival to confirm that I would be able to pay for the reservation using my credit card though the hotel was booked under my boyfriend's name mentioning that two guests were staying in the room. I spoke with Desiree she approved she said everything would be fine as long as I could provide identification for the card. Of course when I get there things change and that's no longer the case. Now I must be added to the reservation. Funny one of the workers even called Desiree to confirm that she had agreed that my payment would be allowed. I guess they just wanted to call and scold her in front of customers because that didn't change the outcome. Thankfully booking com is very easy to navigate and they allow you to edit your bookings. If not, I would have been out a to place to stay after traveling from San Diego to Los Angeles on a busy holiday weekend. Now let's get to the rooms I wouldn't say the pictures online look the same as in person. The beds are not queens. They are large twins. And one matttess slanted to the side and was extremely hard to lay on. The bathrooms are much smaller than pictured online and the shower has half a door which causes a large mess of water on the floor. Now, Looking out my window I had a great view of a cement wall. The only positive about this hotel is the location. Its located in Chinatown. I will not be revisitng this location anytime soon, not because of the room quality, but because of how I was basically called a liar in the front Lobby with other guests watching. How embarrassing Best Western. Your employees should do more to be more helpful.

Had a great stay during the Canada vs South Africa game during the world cup. Close to the train station to access SoFi and to catch a trains all over California. Room was clean spacious and central. Extremely fair pricing. Would return again 100%. Important above and beyond service: I unfortunately forgot an expensive suit jacket in the closet and was boarding a flight back to Canada when I realized it. I called the hotel who had located it and they were very happy to help return it to me. It took a few days as the office manager was busy, but Itzel at the front desk was kindly able to ship it to a US address. I am very appreciative as this was my mistake in forgetting my jacket. 10/10 stars on service. Thank you Itzel!!!!
I’m local and I’ve stayed here a few times in a few different rooms. The staff are always friendly. The location isn’t anything glamorous, but it’s actually a pretty cool spot, as is the building. Everything in Chinatown is walkable from this place. Chinatown is a fairly unassuming place, but it’s pleasantly walkable and has a ton of options for places to eat. Speaking of which, the included breakfast is really nice to have and the food is tasty. Again, the staff running breakfast is also very friendly. The rooms are pretty nice and I really like them, but I have two unideal things to report. One room has a shower head that was pretty beat up. It wasn’t awful, but it’s an easy fix and should be taken care of. Not really a big deal. The other actual issue was that the rooms with a balcony have balcony doors that let on a lot of sound and so you can hear buses drive down the street. Seems like it’d be an easy fix. Aside from that, I love this place. P.S. One huge thing I forgot to mention is that this place is usually one of the best deals. The price is usually great and even when it’s not it’s usually still at least one of the best prices around. The one thing to remember is that overnight parking is $18.
Trash, service was absolutely horrendous. Do not waste your money. Stinks like urine and feces. Me and my son drove from Phoenix to Los Angeles and my license was stolen. I have the DMV app with my license on it and she refused to let us use it to check in even though room was already paid for. We had to find a room last minute and ended up paying way more. Because she could not understand that it was not a picture of my license. It is an actual ID.
This hotel in the heart of Chinatown was such a great surprise. The room is very spacious and modern. Front desk staff is friendly. Nothing beats this location. Close to good eating spots and shopping. The courtyard is also a great place just to sit and relax.
