Good hotel and perfectly placed downtown. Rooms were nicely clean and spacious depending on the size. One concern is with the king bed room type, the bathroom does not have a lot of counter space. I would suggest adding some kind of standalone table in the bathroom as there is space for it. Bed was very comfortable and so was the pillows and sheets. Definitely will stay here again.
Recently updated. Rooms are very nice. Wheelchair rooms are big, really nice roll in shower but only available in the double room. No microwave, small fridge and Keurig. Usually well situated but surrounded by construction for the next few years unfortunately. Beds are low enough for self transfer but also have space under for a lift! Automatic drapes is a nice plus. Super friendly staff

Old but charming hotel with friendly, welcoming, and professional service. The free shuttle was extremely helpful. The rooms are clean, and the view of Union Station is nice. The pool isn’t the best, but considering the price, location, and overall service, this is a great place to stay. The bar area is nice and cozy with good service.
Let me preface this review by saying that the hotel itself and all of its amenities are really nice, and most of the people that I encountered here were also helpful. However, on a Saturday filled with events in downtown indianapolis, this hotel was completely unprepared for the surge of check-ins and occupants. The line to drop off your car in the valet, which is the only way to park there according to their website, literally was shutting down city blocks in downtown indianapolis. It was an hours long line to drop off your car at valet. We also checked in about 3:45 with two rooms reserved, and only one was ready even though check-in was at 4:00. Our second room was not available until 5:30 p.m. Our room service breakfast around 10 am Sunday was completely screwed up, so we decided to leave. When we attempted to retrieve our car in the morning from the valet, I was told by the rather rude valet stand attendant that the wait was 45 minutes to an hour to retrieve our car. I immediately returned to the front desk and the hotel worker told me that I could just get my keys myself and walk to the local parking garage to retrieve my car, which obviously I did. They were "nice" enough to remove the valet charge from our rooms for the night. This is truly a beautiful hotel with a great location, but it was honestly one of the most stressful and worst days I have ever had at any hotel across the world. I was in town with my son and his best friend for a Morgan Wallen concert, as many others were, as well as for the Indiana Fever game and an Indianapolis 500 pre-race. For this hotel to be this unprepared for the check-ins, the valet drop offs, the valet pickups, the room readiness, was completely uncalled for. I will never stay at this location again for a major event in indianapolis, and I hope that this helps others who are trying to plan their travel for similar events in the city.
Location is central: easy walk to restaurants and local shopping. Parking can be difficult- there can be a line for valet. Street parking is available but quickly ticketed by city if you run out of time. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Easy and quick check in process. Spacious room and amazing comfy bed! Bar and restaurant are busy. Good food and drinks. Lots of conference goers stay here from sport to other. Can be very busy at bar and coffee shop.
