The AC needed replacing at my daughter's house. Justin and Zack worked into the evening to finish the task. It now works perfectly. They even confirmed that the 28 year old Bryant furnace was in perfect working order and will not need replacing. Her home insurance policy paid for part of the repair.
One word JACKIE, she is amazing. Literally made me trust the company right away, this is my second time using the company. First time had a different tech in which was rocky, but the owner stepped in to insure everything was done right. And put my mind at ease. I WILL be using them again, Jackie educated me as to why the unit piece failed and made it her business to insure me the piece would be ordered right away. Once the piece got in the company called and scheduled me right away. You don’t find companies that have trustworthy people now and days. She truly cares and puts herself in the customers shoes, she empathizes with you and you can see she truly cares. A company with ppl like that will always be the go to in my book. The company has gained a new loyal customer. Thank you Jackie for not just fixing the issue, but educating on the why!!

Don't trust this company. Our central air broke down on July 16th, and this company was dispatched through our home warranty. The technician refused to do a standard window or insulation walkthrough. Instead, they tried to force an unapproved equipment size upgrade from our existing 3-ton system to an oversized 4-ton system, claiming massive structural home modifications were required. I measured our main supply trunk line, which is 9x21 and physically maxes out at a standard 3-ton capacity. A 4-ton system would have destroyed our airflow and frozen our coils. A second-opinion contractor confirmed that a standard 3-ton replacement was all that was needed, requiring zero duct alterations. Be incredibly careful with this company's sizing recommendations and always get a second opinion."
Joe from Detroit Heating and Cooling was contracted to our home through our home warranty program. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained to us what was needed. He then returned as promised the following week and installed the condensation pump. He did a very good job, he was very timely and cleaned up after himself. I also called Detroit Heating and Cooling regarding some questions that I had and Francis the owner answered the phone. He was very polite, reassuring, and answered all my questions. Everything that was promised to us we received. In this world good customer service is rare. But, Francis and Joe at Detroit Heating and Cooling are an exception to the norm today. I would recommend them any day . Thanks Detroit Heating and Cooling
These guys really work hard to take care of their customers. I had an ac installed last August and it was giving us problems to begin with. Elija and Jackie worked hard to make sure the kinks were all worked out. I was put at ease with the offer to replace this unit immediately if it turned out to be a lemon instead of the normal 6 to 8 week waiting time. The issue was the way the industry’s new refrigerants work in the system. In any case, Jackie, the tech was at my house for a couple hours double checking everything she could think of, and didn’t leave until she knew it was working. Even took her lunch in our driveway to make sure it was still working g properly before leaving for her next job.
