I can honestly say that Dixon’s Automotive provided the best customer experience I’ve had with auto repairs. What sets them apart is how genuine and honest they are. They took the time to explain everything and didn’t talk down to me. They did a thorough assessment of my car and provided the inspection report. They correctly identified the issue which AAA did not. Going forward they will be the only shop I bring my car to for service.
I have a 2012 F250 Super Duty 6.7 diesel that I use to haul my 16,000lb 5th wheel around the country for fun. Had a 2 month road trip planned when the engine started missing and throwing codes for multiple cylinders "contribution failures". Brought the truck to Randy at the Moraine shop. After some diagnostic efforts it was shown to be the dreaded "CP4 Disaster". Basically the fuel pump was grinding itself to pieces and spewing metal shards through the injectors into the cylinders. My engine was FUBAR! Randy was able to find a brand new 6.7 and install it in time to save my vacation! Thanks to Randy, Paul and all those involved. Note to other owners of Ford 6.7 trucks... call Randy about the "Disaster prevention kit"... a filter that will protect your investment. Spend a couple thousand now to avoid spending 20k when CP4 finds you!

We first took our car to USA Tire. They told us it was the internal water pump and they weren't able to repair it and recommended taking it to the Ford dealership. Ford first quoted us $6500 + then charged over $200 for a diagnostic test. Then said it wasn't the water pump, that it was the radiator. We trust the mechanic at USA Tire. We've been clients of their's for years. We called him and he said the radiator was fine. And recommended another repair shop. A friend told us about your shop and we decided to check you out and/or at least get an estimate. Your mechanic, James, said the same thing as USA Tire and quoted about $1000 less than the Ford dealership. You were able to start the repairs that very afternoon and completed the job by the next afternoon. The final bill was even less than you originally quoted. The car runs like a charm. We are very pleased and will DEFINITELY recommend you to all our friends and acquaintances. Thank you very much. Kathryn and Marvin Jones
I invested over $6000 dollars worth of work with Dixon's automotive in Miamisburg. My main issue was my oil consumption. I first took my vehicle to the dealership and I was told I needed pistons for my vehicle. I decided to get a second opinion. Dixon's automotive did a digital inspection of my vehicle and I was given a list of items that needed replacing/repaired to my vehicle. I was given the inspection list by Zach and he told me that to resolve my oil consumption I needed to have the intake manifold replaced. Mind you, nothing in my inspection paperwork recommended pistons needed to be replaced nor a motor. Well, the intake manifold was replaced amongst many other things and I still have the same issue with my oil consumption. I brought it to their attention. Then Paul tells me I need to come in and have my oil monitored every few days. Well, I have a first shift job therefore coming to get oil monitored was an issue. I work during their business hours there for I came when I could. Well now since the intake manifold replacement didn't work Paul wants to tell me I need a motor. If you're a certified mechanic, you should of told me that in the beginning. I have sent a few emails and I received nonsense back basically he never told me that this would resolve my issue. Well your inspection paperwork says differently and what he didn't tell me is "this may/may not work" or he did not say "this is not guaranteed to resolve your issue" nor was I told "I would have to bring my vehicle in every few days to have my oil monitored" If I would have been told these things up front I would have declined services. I could have bought me car with with $6000. Who has money to waste on guestimations!? Not me. This is a bunch of BS. Well today I was rudely spoken to and hung up on by Paul...wow. He is not the honest man I thought he was. I just want my money back from the intake manifold job. That's the right thing to do. My receipt also states the work on my vehicle is under warranty. Make it right Paul!!! If not God will most definitely deal with you.
