My 28-year-old air conditioning unit died at the worst possible time--mid July during a heat wave. After looking for recommendations on Nextdoor and checking Google reviews, I called several HVAC companies for estimates. Spiros from Maumee Valley came out the next day, gave me a reasonable number, and promised to work us in as soon as he could. I received one other quote for $2k more and then decided to go with Maumee Valley instead of waiting another few days for additional quotes. I signed the contract on a Thursday and Maumee Valley came out the following Monday after they had a cancellation. I can't tell you how happy I was to see those two installation techs! The job was handled efficiently and the air is back on less than a week after it went out. Other companies wouldn't even come out for a quote in less than a week and others were working several weeks out. In fact, the turnaround was so quick I told Spiros I wouldn't have the money from our investment account until Tuesday. He agreed that I could come in and pay the bill on Tuesday, which I did, and received a 5% discount for paying cash. So happy I found Maumee Valley!
I purchased an historic home - built in 1919 - that came with a Boiler. Little did I know that hidden behind my main kitchen cabinet (under the sink) was an old radiator - which was standing in the way of my remodelling plans! I have no experience with boilers, so went online to find a business that could work on them and get the radiator disconnected from the system and removed. I found Maumee Valley Heating and A/C and after reading other reviews, gave them a call. They sent out Jeff who was wonderful, upfront and honest to speak with - and we discussed the system and what it would take to make the needed repairs. I agreed to the price and he returned in a couple days with some helpers (sorry, I forgot their names!) to remove the radiator - NOT an easy job, for sure. These guys worked incredibly hard to get rid of the estimated 600 pound beast and charged a fair price (that didn't change when the final bill came!)...... I then scheduled Jeff to return to service the rest of the equipment to be sure I have a fresh start to winter. I would HIGHLY recommend Maumee without hesitation to anyone in need of Boiler system service or other HVAC service!!!

Their yearly maintenance plan is a good value and provides peace of mind that the system is working well. This is a small family business that truly cares about their customers. I highly recommend!
Maumee Valley H&AC have always been my go to,with any furnace problems. Today they replaced my old furnace with a new Payne furnace and did a great job! They were prompt in getting here this morning when they said they would,and completed the job two hours earlier than the estimate of time that was given! The 3 man crew were very professional and polite,and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend this company 100%. Thanks MV H&AC!
System works fantastic (1hour post install) house already feels warm and is coming to temp. Technicians were nice. Absolutely appreciative of the opportunity and blessing to have a new furnace.
