Stayed here for a week (Monday- Friday) because our girls were attending a film camp nearby. I will say, the car service was the absolute best! Throughout the week we got to know the drivers Robert, Oscar, and Robin. All around great people that drove well and kept a safe. We were able to use the car service to easily go to the Grammy Museum, LA Live, Union Station (to catch the free shuttle to Dodgers stadium) and Olvera Street. We used the complimentary Angel Flight tickets to check out Grand Central Market. We were able to walk to both the MOCA and the Broad Museums. Great location and great staff. The little treat at the front desk each night was also nice. The rooms could use some work and there was some delay picking up room service trays. A tray in our hall stayed on the floor for over 24 hours. Overall, we highly recommend and will stay there again!
So first I wanna say I’m really lucky because I won a free night stay off Instagram! I always see contests from other IG accounts to win things and I feel like no one actually gets to receive their prize. So shout out to the Omni Hotel marketing team because they actually followed through with the prize! I won a free night and a Dodgers prize pack that welcomed me when I stepped foot in the room! Dodger goodies, drink, snacks, appetizers, and more. Honestly I was satisfied with this but it didn’t stop there. I have to stop and give a huge thank you!!!! To Michelle who communicated with me during my stay and made sure I had a truly welcoming evening. I got an amazing room with incredible views as well as a free upgrade at their lounge for the Cocktail Hour - which is actually like four hours long! Full bar, Hors d’oeuvres, wine cart and more. i noticed employees always kept everything freshly stocked and were very helpful and polite. On top of that, the Omni team gave me a $100 credit for food and I got to use it at the Mother’s Day Brunch. Best brunch I’ve had in my life and it’s not just because it was comped. Do you see that crab boil bowl it’s like two feet in diameter and massive!! And I only have photos of half the food. I had a few friends visit the hotel because they gave me a ride during our time in DTLA and all of them remarked how nice the hotel was, and I can assure you everyone was jealous of the food. The staff were so nice and treated all the guests and mothers really great too. Whether you’re traveling from far or if you need a nice LA staycation, this would be my pick. I know I’ll for sure be coming back. They also offered me free trolley tickets, free tickets to museums like MOCA, the Broad, and even a car service! This hotel made staying in DTLA so easy and fun especially with their really great location. Would be fun to stay here and hit up the Disney hall. Thank you Omni for showing me what you have to offer! And definitely take advantage of following their IG / socials because they truly do deliver when it comes to prizes. 😊😊

This hotel truely deserves highest possible rating. Best part is its Location which is 2 minute walk to famous museums. 2 metro stations bunker hill and perish square are very near. The 2nd floor has so many restaurants. Indian restaurant saffron is also there with superb food. The angel railway is complimentary for guests. Staff is great. I would specifically like to mention "Destiny" who greets with beautiful smile and help you in every way. The biggest selling point is free cab service from hotel within 3 miles. Only improvement i would recommend to create proper wardrobe to keep clothes. Rest I loved this hotel and will stay in future too. Thanks Omni.
I had an amazing stay at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and located in a perfect downtown location close to many attractions. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered great views of the city. What truly made the experience outstanding was the staff—everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The service was top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was elegant and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Los Angeles and will definitely stay here again!
The service is top notch from valet to desk and everywhere in between. The rooms were awkwardly situated bathroom and closet door opened up on each other. The bed was too hard for me. It was pretty quiet overall for being downtown. The bathroom sink has zero room. I had to put my hair straightener on the edge of the tub. The shower was the best part wonderful pressure the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel and I was on a high floor. However the wall prevented the curtain from closing all the way so water seeped out and pooled on the tile floor making it super dangerous. The soaps were great but the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were under the shower head which made it difficult to get from your hand to your head because it washed off with the strong shower pressure. It has a lovely entrance albeit small so uber and other cars jammed up the small space. They only offer valet mine was $76 nightly. The bar was cool and the food at their restaurant Noe was good. Also on the 3rd floor opposite the restaurant is a small store with coffee and pastries for sale. Next to the store for a few hours in the morning is a coffee cart offering free coffee and tea. Room service was quick and easy. The hotel is located across from Grand Central Market and about 20-30 minute walk to China town and the federal building.
